This game was really fun, its a progression based horror ship captain / fishing game. Lots to do, took me about 27 hours to complete everything which i consider a decent timeframe for a playthrough, they have released 2 expansions since launch - both were fun. I recommend this game, its nice and chill

after 9 hours of gameplay i have developed the heebie jeebies towards moving lights in the dark. this makes driving at night significantly scarier and is therefore detrimental to my everyday life. 10/10

I found the game very enjoyable for the first few hours, figuring out fishing, learning upgrade mechanics, getting intrigued a bit by the story, etc. However, the game is incredibly short. I have a fully upgraded boat/engine/poles/nets/etc. and have finished the game in right around 12 hours of game play.

After 100%:ing this game I can safely say that it is a MASTERPIECE. The music never fails to put you in the right mood, the pacing is flawless and the story is spectacular. If I could choose one game to forget everything about and start over, it would be this absolute diamond.

An interesting albeit short game. Nothing revolutionary really, but its combination of mini games, pleasant graphics and lovecraftian setting makes it very satisfying to play.
7/10. Do recommend

I'm obsessed with this game. Bought all the DLC before I was even done with the main storyline because I already knew I wanted as much content as possible from them. The main storyline is 10/10, and the game itself is the perfect balance of story/grinding/achieving goals, and the DLC continues that quite well. More than just the gameplay, the story itself leaves you curious, with tidbits of lore and worldbuilding scattered throughout that show just how much time they really put into this.
- I will note that some people say that the Iron Rig DLC is most fun if played alongside the rest of the game. I didn't touch Iron Rig until after I was done the game, so I can't say for certain if it is. I will note that if you are getting both DLC anyway, and you want to play them after the rest of the game, go through the Pale Reach first. The item you get at the end of the Pale Reach is VERY helpful.
Team17 has published quite a few games that I've really enjoyed- though I'm anxiously looking forward to anything that Black Salt Games creates in the future!

Dredge is a solid cozy game that lets you really take it at your own pace. The atmosphere and thematic elements work well together and I quite enjoyed it right through to the end. That said, there's limited variance, and I don't plan to go back and finish off the achievements or play through any DLC.
