It fun so far

this game is an ABSOLUTE BLAST

if you are like me, you will enjoy this game! i dont have alot of time now days with steam, since i am a family man i need to be able to pause / dont play fpr 2-5 days. and this game is a dream for players like me ( so far, 40h in ) lets hope for DLC and more contents!

this is a great game, you can tell lots of thought went into it (i can't really explain without spoilers, so i wont) a fantastic throw back to the silly, simple, and fun times of the 90s/2000s very little hand holding, simple vague clues that lets you actually engage your brain for a moment (ZERO yellow paint <3 ) =========== [Cons] - spam clicking for hours is awful. they need to let you hold click --- some weapons do let you hold click, but the vast majority dont - combat feels like its missing something --- maybe blocking, maybe a cooldown, maybe CC, lots of choices - base building felt like it was going to go a lot further then it did - the blue zombie build hints get old fast --- they actually do give good information sometimes, but they go so slow and are so repetitive that actually watching them is painful after the first 5 --- the first one you watch is fun, maybe the 2nd.. the 10... kill me - dismounting is extremely slow and clunky - the pacing of unlocks was a bit slow - exploring early has no real payoff, this is really a linear game but the other areas are all open immediately (stick to the quests, exploring early is pointless) =========== overall, i think this is kind of a hidden diamond in the rough. if you can grab it for under 20 bucks, its probably worth it

I am very much not a fan of building survival games. This game has proven to me why I keep trying new ones. I love the gore, I love the voice acting, the sound effects are incredible. So far, I am having a blast, and sharing it with friends. I went straight to the hardest core I could and I love when games actually let you do that. I just wish they wouldn't let you change that in the middle of a play-through, ruins the fun a bit when you can just go to easy. I do not do that. Death happens a lot. I love it, 200 hp and sometimes a single tap can kill ya. You will get clobbered. With joy. I still have so much to learn about the game mechanics, but they are relaxing enough to keep you on your feet but not struggle. Thank goodness I don't have to pay attention to my food ingest. I appreciate that. I have to do that for a living already, why would I want to care for that in a video game? Only 5 hours in, and every moment has paid for itself. I highly recommend if you love a good bang-em-up shoot-em-up game with some side characteristics to keep you thinking. [spoiler] The XP system is interesting. Punishment isn't hard on you at all, and if you find a zombie that kills you, you can re-gain the experience by finding and smacking them back. [/spoiler] Go ahead, give it a try. 5 hours and I've gotten my finances worth.
