Worth the price! But it would be more better if there was steering wheel support!

I love this game so far! My only issue is to please add some sort of UI icon that shows Cruise mode instead of having to look at the speedometer. Thanks!

For me, there was one or two bugs. but the developer is working on them. So other than that this game is really cool and I enjoy it, so it is definitely worth the price :)

One of my gem best acquisition. One dev game better than many studio expensive and pretentious game. One dev who really loved to make a full game with what he likes. More features would make the game more expensive and probably more complicated to balance. I prefer the game the way it is. For more, I'll be glad to see the next one to come. With ideas, graphic and sound design like that (why not a ride game but in a city with a map. It would follow a completely different mechanic with more content). Gameplay highly enjoyable with cars with very pleasant steering (roll) effect. You feel like driving a car with some roll and yaw. Better than other games with just slide effect without an inch of physic. Immersive feeling despite we just go through some cities. The dev has found a good balance to deliver an enjoyable driving game. Limited but not too much frustrating features. Delivers pleasure for gamer keen for a challenge or gamer in mood for just a strolling ride. Vaporwave atmosphere well made with great visual effect. NTSC and TV noise in game! a must have that makes this game special and more in the 80's spirit than many so called vaporwave driving games. Good soundtrack from energetic to vaporlike but all enjoyable for vaporwave's amateur. Worth its price. A game you like to spend time with. Other good features: We can customise traffic intensity. Straight line or no traffic option. Free ride, time rush, distance rush, speed rush are great mode. Grazing car combo adds some spice. Ready to pay any DLC improvement. Suggestion: make the car upgrades to downgrade as you want. I know that you can keybinding any keyboard button for the cruise control. But downgrade the engine max power would be great too for I prefer to step on the accelerator. Other suggestion. Make the room walkable it would be great. And allow to make more places in the room filled with your own picked furniture. It feels great to be in it just before to start a ride. And I would enjoy to sit in a chair I would have put in the garage.

I'll be honest; I bought "Sunset Drive" for its visuals, and as such I feel almost ashamed to complain about anything else in the game because, at least graphically, the game gives me exactly what I expected from it: a neon-drenched environment that looks like Van Art: The Game. Of course, I already own a game exactly like that (2018's "Outdrive"), so this may not have been the wisest purchase I've ever made. "Sunset Drive's" graphics are undeniably sharper than "Outdrive's", of course, and the seeing the lights reflect off the hood of the car was surreal and beautiful. On the other hand, "Outdrive" boasted slightly more variety in its backgrounds and map design, so it's a wash as to which is better in this regard. They're both quite pretty though, so I'm not really complaining. "Outdrive's" soundtrack was by far superior; both feature a number of synth-wave music tracks, but "Outdrive" again had more options and variety in its selection. "Sunset Drive's" gameplay is similarly limited, largely consisting of time trials as you race down the highway swerving around traffic. Fail to get far enough, or keep up your speed, or hit too many cars, and the trial ends. Keep going and you bank increasing numbers of virtual bucks that can be used to upgrade your car (to ludicrous levels; speeds of 1000kmh are possible!) and your garage. There are no opponents to race against, but you can modify the amount of traffic to increase or decrease the challenge. Unfortunately, the rewards are so minuscule - especially in the beginning - that upgrading is more frustrating than anything else, and the races themselves aren't any more engaging. Swerving around traffic entertains for about ten minutes, and after that the only motivation to keep going is to see how much money you can earn for upgrades, and the pace at which your bank account grows is annoying slow. My solution was to set the game to "straight roads, no traffic", tape down the accelerate key, and then walk away for several hours, which earned me a hefty chunk of change, but I doubt that's the expected method of progression. Of course, "Sunset Drive" is still in Early Access to perhaps my complaints are unfounded; it is possible that more variety in terrain, music, and game modes are forthcoming. But at the moment, there's little the game has to offer except some nice graphics and a few minutes of gameplay, so unless you get this game on sale (as I did), it's not really worth the price.
