Amazing Game!
Loved the overall graphics of the game and the setup. The Npcs look pretty cool especially the cop with that funny way of walking. A little bit of polishing is still left here and there, but I guess that will be fixed in future updates.
I highly recommend to buy this game. Will not be disappointed. Being an avid gamer myself i loved the overall execution of quests in the game and will recommend it to all, to experience it themselves for sure.

Who's The King Of The Street?
Down and Out is like the retro brawling games in an open VR world. This game gives me retro vibes of games like Streets of Rage and Back Street Brawler, but in wonder VR. The game is open world, a few city blocks and very detailed and interactive. You can grab and throw objects at people, ride a bike, spray paint a wall, even push a shopping cart around.
The game will have you fighting angary people, or just making people angry to fight, there is a brawl waiting to happen around every corner. The game is more then just a fighting game as well. You will have a bunch of mini games to play, like defend your spot, find the wallet, chase and beat down the pizza guy and many more. You will also earn cash, build rep and level up. You can also buy and sell items. Over all the game has lots to do and keep you playing.
The combat system feels good. It is easy to block, but the hitting is like old school Punch Out. Watch for an opening and attack when the enemies starts a punching motion. I was able to fight three people at once and come out on top. The combat is also a great workout and will have you out of breath and working up a sweat. that's where the mini games come in, and give you time to rest up for that next brawl.
This is a great game for a workout and fun brawling game with an interactive world to be immersed into. Will you rise to be King of the streets?

Ive spent over an hour and I already LOVE this game. The interactive-ness is amazing and I haven't had so much fun fighting people in a game as much I did in this. Again, I was a bit skeptical at first because I wasn't really a fan of VR games but down and out changed my perception on VR games. Again, the quests are pretty fun to do, the cop is a weird feller that I hate because everytime I try to spray paint the walls he just stops me and CMON LEMME HAVE SOME SPRAYPAINT FUN IN PEACEEE. The old feller looks like Uncle from RDR2 and I LOVE punching him. He most certainly has lumbago lol- Anyways, Im prolly just gonna jump back into the game and do some more random stuff! Strongly recommend this game to all those who just wanna spend some time in an open world in VR.

One of the best VR games Ive played. Good fighting mechanics and the interactivity is awesome. The side quests are a lot of fun too!!! Kept me playing for hours on the end- Punching those street folk make me feel like one punch man lol- Really really enjoyed it very much!

It's a lot of fun! Makes for a great introduction to VR.
This was one of the first VR games I played, and it really helped me ease into it.
No problems with motion sickness or anything, and it's a fight game that you can tackle at whatever
pace you're comfortable. Honestly the perfect fit.

Refunded. Don't waste your time. This isn't a full game, nor would I say it's worth the title of "early access". There is a single fight mechanic. You stand there, wait for the other person to move, and then punch. Repeat. The side mini-games are worthless and are just variations of throwing stuff (which is a miserable experience itself). There is 1 map that is small, and a backpack you can't put anything in.
The point of this game is to get you to buy it and hope that you're too lazy to go through the refund process.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
This game is not fun at all, let me tell you why it is bad
- The combat is terrible, the npcs dodge all of your hits and the blocking hardly works
- The map is small
- There is nothing to do, there are about 4 tasks and no variety within them
- When walking around, npcs will fight you when not engaging with them so there is no escape
- No running, you walk everywhere or bike (Which btw also has terrible mechanics)
Once again, there is not much to do except fight using a terrible, defective, fighting system...repeat the same minigames over and over...or graffiti

Oh boy. Let me give it to you straight. This game is genuinely awful. It's feels like an asset flip, and likely is. Most of the stuff they showed in the trailer, """IS""" in the game. And by is in game, I of course mean that you can do everything they can do, but most of it does nothing. You can't eat the pizza off the food carts, nor the hotdogs. The combat system has the NPC's dodging 4-5 hits before you can even hit them, to the point it's basically turn based.
Oh and there is ONE area with an incredibly tiny amount to do, four "missions" and then you're done.
Please, Do not buy this game, Do not support these developers. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THEY HAVE PULLED THIS, They are turning into the new Digital Homicide at this rate, with godawful games that nobody in the sane mind should ever buy.

This game is NOT worth 15 dollars! The fighting, which I was most excited for, is extremely basic and feels turn based, meaning you need to wait for the right moment to attack them and its always the same interval, every fight feels identical and is super frustrating because even though you swing and attack you cannot do damage until the window to do so opens again, very disappointed. The movement feels weird as well especially the turning, there also seems no running mechanic in the game. the game should have been either free or tops 5 dollar
