I don't see any real difference between this and the original version.

I hope Tom Hall gets randomly hit by testicual torsion pain once in a while for inflicting cruelty upon thousands through his levels. Still Love this game.

An underappreciated classic FPS game that needs more praise for its gunplay and unique art style. I especially loved the sounds and animations the enemies make when you shoot at them. However, one particular complaint I have is that I wish there was online co-op for this game, especially when you need help solving a puzzle or figuring out where to go (the latter of which I had trouble with in one of the games included in this edition).

A strange but very charming relic from the early days of FPS games. I'm ancient enough to have played the Wolfenstein 3D and Doom shareware on an MSDos PC (without a sound card or mouse!) but RoTT passed me by somehow. I'm playing it for the first time now.
Something like Doom is far more polished... But the devs were clearly having such a fun time coming up with silly bulls*it to add to their game that you can't help but enjoy the vibe. It's also got one of the best MIDI soundtracks I've ever heard.

Rise of the Triad was a nice shooter for its time with funny gadgets and a bit of gore. It also has one of the worst map design in fps with maze like maps; irritating fire balls and walls and lots of backtracking. The combat is easy until the overpowered boss fights. The remake has excellent quality but playing ROTT now is not so fun anymore due to the bad map design.
Recommended only for old fans.
