This is a great, immersive, VR game that has stood the test of time. It reminded a lot of Half Life and clearly was inspired by it (especially if you’ve played the sequel). The story is pretty vague but I think that helps with the atmosphere. The only cons I would say are the story is kind of short and the pacing feels a little rushed at the end with a bunch of cool guns suddenly getting dumped on you. Definitely worth every penny though and I’m stoked to play Vertigo 2 now!

This and Vertigo 2 are must play VR experiences, and it's incredible a single person made them. There's so much potential in VR and these games are such a testament to that. Can't wait for Into the Aether!

I love what this game was attempting to do. The overall concept and vibe was good. But there were just too many poor game design and level design choices. About half the time I was not enjoying myself, but rather just getting through it. I lost count of the times I thought, "oh... okay... this again?" or some other uninspired feeling. The boss battles should have been cool but they were just tedious. Especially the giant fat alien one towards the end. Just a chore to get through. Games aren't supposed to be a chore. And after all that, the ending was stupid and unsatisfying. :(
