The camera is horrible and the movements/velocity feels way off.

I originally had this as a recommend. cos it's a fun little physics platformer, with some rough edges that i chalked up to it being a 20 year old game......
well i played the original on an emulator recently. the original has 0 of the jank of this "remake." the physics are wrong, the control is wrong, the camera is wrong, the format is wrong, the banana placement is wrong.... "why does every level force me to backtrack for exactly 3 bananas?" because whoever designed this remake is a talentless hack. this is, in fact, a completely botched remake of the original. every problem i had with this game - that i thought was just "the old" - were actually introduced HERE, in 2021.
embarrassing. play on dolphin instead.
