This game is so hard, it'll cure your ED, it's a challenge at every front, punishing when you make small mistakes, and even more punishing when you greed resources, or use them to freely. It's not a game that you're going to buy for AMAZING graphics, it has a dark lure, it's lovecraftian, it's challenging, and punishing on every mistake you make that requires the player to learn. This game is from an indi developer who responds to everyone in discord. If you're the kind of person who enjoys Cuphead, or Darksouls because of the challenge, NOT because of the graphics then I would 100% recommend this game :) it supports a guy who puts his heart and soul into this game and actively responds.

Enjoyable, but not very balanced, monsters keep getting stuck, difficulty levels are disproportionate and there is not a lot of side action/content. (Not to mention crappy equipment (ie shooting via left click, instead of standard melee) is forced on you instead of letting you choose your starting rings/weapons. A completely custom character would be nicer.)

Weird controls ? Yes, but you do get used to them. Unspeakable monsters with questionable anatomy ? Yeees, they creep, jump around and wriggle like nothing you've ever seen. Procedural _everything_ that does look like an actual eldritch nightmare ? Definitely worth experiencing - you're in for quite a ride! This game needs more love.

This game falls into the category of average titles within its genre, but unfortunately, its drawbacks far outweigh its strengths. One of the biggest issues is the extremely repetitive and shallow attack mechanics. The combat system fails to deliver a satisfying experience; the action feels weak, and encounters quickly become monotonous. Additionally, the AI and animations suffer from severe inconsistencies. Enemies lack a clear movement pattern—some randomly ascend into the sky during fights and suddenly disappear, disrupting the flow of gameplay. These issues negatively impact the game's atmosphere and fluidity, making the overall experience feel somewhat nonsensical at times. However, if the developers manage to fix these flaws and introduce more variety and balance to the combat mechanics, the game has the potential to be much more enjoyable. As it stands now, though, playing it without addressing these problems doesn’t seem like a particularly appealing choice.

It's like if you based an entire game on the combat system of a flash game from the early 2000's. The loot felt so random and it didn't even feel like a victory when you kill something because everything is the same tentacle monster that gets stuck on the geometry. There nothing to learn from combat besides that you should stand in a cheese spot and spam attacks. Maybe the exploration gets interesting and I gave up too soon, but the movement was so floaty I just didn't want to spend any more time in this world. I genuinely mourn what this could have been if they just used AI to inspire the level and character design and then built a real game on top of it. I'm sure it was hard work to make this a viable product, but this is an essential example of why AI will never actually 'make' art. I'm sure the devs learned a lot from this and I wish them well on their next project.

The jank is unbearable. The visuals are muddy. I paid $4 and still felt ripped off.

I really hoped for a smooth play but it has such a slow pace for a crazy chaotic game like this, enemies has no algorithm of attacking , just moving in circle and stuck everywhere and suddenly u notice that u have been damaged, everything is random and it gets on your nerves even for a hardcore player like me. Visually it has no beautiful character , place , enemy , movement , and dramatic process. It wasent good for me at all. However Tnx for the effort.

Neat enough concept, but severely lacks polish. Kinda has a flash-game vibe to it, for better or for worse. Gameplay and level design feels aimless. Not worth the price.

Its better to have a finite amount of purposeful art and interactions than an infinite amount of baffling graphics and enemies that just simply are not interesting
