I had to take a break from this game because it was just too damn addictive.
This is a collectathon JRPG with a great combat system, and some of the most complex builds ive seen in a video game.
Theres hundreds of stats, the UI isnt that great, and its too complicated for its own good.
Still - this game is fun. Not for everyone.
If you have 200 hours and you just want something to put on in the background and grind to - play this game. Otherwise, STAY AWAY (its so good its addictive)

Bit simple and grindy, but otherwise very fun. Has some interesting plot points, mechanics and some humorous "wut?" moments. Over all a simple yet fun creature collector, for when you want to waste time.

If you're into theorycrafting, you have to try this game.
The build diversity is absolutely insane. I've sunk many of my hours theorycrafting builds to push the limits of the game's mechanics to break the game.
There's a ton of content too and there is an infinite progression system.
However, it's worth noting that after playing for a while, the gameplay can start feeling slow, although that depends a lot on your build too.

absolute grindmaxxing game
it's getting a huge 2.0 update soon in May with all the unlocked backer shop content as of 2024, like more specs & monsters, story skip, all specs unlocked from the start, sandbox, new difficulties, and a new roguelite mode called Itherian Realms.
can't wait to sink another 150+ hours in
