Very Resident Evily. I give it an 8/10 for a good effort. The controls were okay when using the Dpad for the fixed cam. For pt2 they should have it where the stepmothers plan actually worked and it resurrected the family and now they're evil like her. great game. just need a bit more content and a bigger outside section.

Wow!! Nostalgia comes to mind when playing this game. I am transported back to 1998 when playing. I love it!! A whole new story to unravel with the same mechanics. Thanks!

even at the price of 15$ I felt that I was ripped off, How does a game that came in 2020 feels worse then a game that came 26 years ago, like even resident evil 1 on the ps1 had better intro to the game , Like the story is badly pace Is SO FUCKED a moment you came to see into your old house to see what you should pick up , legit after 10 mins looking around untill you find that one room with a dead zombie With bad Ai then you suppose to solve a chess game with no idea of the goal of it other then to move it randomly not even check mateing the board as it was weird as hell then you walk by zombies in a sex dungeon gettting random keys,Its like the game want you to be done with it asap ,Do NOT buy the game unless its 80-90% off i stopped from the shock and laughter i had.

Have this game for my PS 4 for awhile now but still haven't played it until last night but not on my PS 4. I saw the game here on steam for sale at $2.24 so i bought it like 2 days ago. I played the game for the first time last night and enjoyed it very much. I am a big Resident Evil fan and this game reminded me a lot of the very first Resident Evil that was released on the original Playstation. The games graphics isn't all that bad. Is it The Last Of Us Great, by no means at all but the graphics are good. i mean you can look at things in the game and know what they are and that's sufficient for me. I've seen games with 10 times worst graphics and people still enjoy playing them. I rate the graphics for this game in my opinion as slightly better than the first Resident Evil on the original playstation. Now as far as the actual game play goes, i love it. The only thing i don't care for right now is that there's no audio voice in the game. it's all subtitles and although i don't mind reading, i personally feel that having great voice actors can add to the overall success of the game by adding suspense, drama, and overall mood of the game that you simply cannot get from reading subtitles. Beyond this flaw, i like the game and would recommend it for people like myself who truly love this genre of gaming to play it.

What started out as what i though was finally a real classic survival horror indie game turned out to be a broken mess. Shots often don't connect, enemies clip through walls, camera doesn't always change when its supposed to and the devs were too lazy to add keybind configuration. Yet another in the trend of bad indie horror games. Real shame as this one had potential.

I was debating if I should recommend or not because the game genuinely isn't very good even though I certainly applaud it for the effort.
The game has a few serious bugs that happened a few times during my playthroughs. The gun aiming is very flawed and doesn't really work well when there's more than one enemy. And even with the singular enemy, even though you are locked on, it seems to literally miss no matter how close they are.
Doors you've unlocked become locked again if you load the game.
That said, I appreciate the old fixed camera angle and tank controls approach so if you do too, I think this is worth trying if the game is on sale and you've run out of better alternatives. The game is very much a 5/10. Very scuffed execution but not completely devoid of merit. Certainly not worst game ever like some people have called it.

If you're looking for something reminiscent the classic RE games, this is it:
Pros:
+ Great atmosphere
+ Classic RE gameplay
+ It's actually a survival horror (Emphasis on survival).
+ Fun puzzles.
+ Back tracking done right.
+ Fun boss fights.
+ The save system is unique, and adds to the survival horror feeling.
+ Game difficulty is perfect.
Cons:
- Janky as hell.
- Poor Animations.
- Some rooms are empty, and I couldn't find any use for them.
- Final boss/Final section are kinda weak.
- The final section of the game feels incomplete.
- Low production value.
- Poorly optimized, couldn't exit the game with out it crashing.
- Hard to recommend at 20$.
- Lacks voice acting, I need my bad voice acting to get that extra classic RE flavor.
- Player character hardly comments on the environment when you click on it.
Neutral:
= Game is around 3 hours long.
= Story is average, with very few cutscenes.
= A bit too dark, had to increase screen brightness.
= Hard to control with analogue stick cause of the fixed camera angles, dpad will give you tank controls.
= Enemy variety is ok.
= Ridiculously bad writing.
Clearly a lot of passion and love went into creating this game, I highly recommend it on discount.

An excellent game, though a little short (passed in 3 hours) and
after passing, unfortunately there is no additional content
. The game has a lot of interesting albeit simple puzzles, there are a variety of monsters and weapons. I really enjoyed the game, but I might be a bit preconceived as I'm a fan of PS1 era Resident Evil games. There are also several stairs to nowhere in the spirit of Silent Hill, along which the character descends for a long time to the background music.

MUSIC - I really liked this music, buying the game did not expect this! I even listened to it a little apart from the game, it reminded me of the soundtracks for SH and RE.
If you are looking for a fixed camera game like PS1 era Resident Evil with better graphics, then this game is definitely for you!
P.S. The only recommendation, if you play with a joystick, then use not a stick, but a D-pad, so that the control is canonical for this series of games, well, it’s convenient for anyone, of course :)

Normally I support every dev trying to make an attempt at recreating old school survival horror.
In this case I will not, and I will keep it short. This game is a broken buggy mess from the start. The aiming is off, a controller is required (forget about key rebinds, and even then you have to use a controller).
The game is full of glitches and bugs. Enemies kill you in a few hits, and you won't see them coming because of bad camera angles and aiming controls. Cutscenes are rare and voice acting is non existant. Save points are hard to come by, so is ammo. Game crashes on exit and uses full GPU???? Optimization is zero.
All you are left is with a game that seems to start off pretty good but then goes down the drain very fast.
The price for this one is laughable, even at a sale it's not worth buying the game(it's very short too). Unless you like to frustrate yourself.
Like I said before normally I would defend this kind of games, but in this case I cannot.
Not recommended.
