This game is surprisingly good for its age and feels snappy to play even in 2025, not much like it either. game is only like 68 gigs with all of the dlcs installed and you can get a lot of value out of that 68 gb. oh and did i also say it runs on just about any pc too?

don't listen to what anyone else says, this game is the pinnacle of the battlefield series, a marvel for its time, battlefield 1 is still somewhat better though

Battlefield 4 is often talked about for its multiplayer, but its campaign deserves more credit—especially if you're coming in for a focused, single-player experience. I played exclusively through the campaign, and despite its relatively short length, I found it thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. The gunplay is fluid and responsive, with clean weapon handling and intuitive controls for swapping between guns, loadouts, and explosives. Whether you're picking off targets with a sniper rifle or clearing rooms with an LMG, every weapon feels punchy and satisfying.
Visually, the game still holds up well. While it may not hit modern AAA benchmarks anymore, the atmosphere of large-scale warzones, collapsed buildings, and high-intensity shootouts is delivered with impact. The level design balances spectacle with solid pacing, and there are just enough quieter moments to let the tension breathe before diving back into chaos.
The campaign took me roughly 10 hours, but that includes some exploration for collectibles and revisiting missions for sniper-focused gameplay and achievements. If you’re just running it straight through, it will feel short. That said, I grabbed it during a 90% off sale, and for the price I paid, I really can’t find a reason to complain. Every mission felt worth my time, and the structure encouraged experimentation with different weapons and tactics.
Battlefield 4 may be remembered for its multiplayer, but if you’re looking for a solid, story-driven FPS with tight gunplay, strong visuals, and high production values, the campaign holds its own. Especially when picked up at a discount, it’s an easy recommendation.

Game currently being sold is incomplete avoid purchasing this game. Content form the campaign is unable to be obtained as of 2025. There is no warning of this, the game is being sold with the lie that it is fully working.
Battlefield 4 – My Favorite Battlefield
Battlefield 4 is, hands down, my favorite Battlefield of all time. No other title has nailed the balance between modern warfare, intense multiplayer combat, and dynamic destruction like this one.
Atmosphere & Gameplay
The gameplay is fast-paced, tactical, and incredibly satisfying. Whether you're on foot, rolling in a tank, or dominating the skies in a jet – everything feels just right. The maps are diverse and perfectly designed for teamwork.
Destruction & Levolution
One of the standout features is the destruction system. Buildings collapse, cover disappears – and with Levolution, DICE pushed it even further. When that skyscraper in Shanghai falls, it's a moment you'll never forget.
Replay Value
With tons of unlockable weapons, gadgets, and vehicles, the game keeps you coming back. Even years after release, you’ll still find full servers and epic battles.
Conclusion
To me, Battlefield 4 is the ultimate Battlefield experience. It strikes the perfect balance between chaos and control, arcade and tactics. After all these years, I still come back to it – and that says it all.
Battlefield 4 – Mein Lieblings-Battlefield
