Je ne recommande absolument pas ce jeu !!! STOP à l'arnaque ! Le jeu se bloque au chargement du chapitre 2 et steam ne se bouge pas pour faire quoi que ce soit ! C'est tout simplment HONTEUX !!! N'achetez pas ce jeu...

Max Payne..was a..PAIN..in the ass to install I have to say. *laugh tracks* But Now that I finally made it I can finally revisit this classic. I spent a part of my childhood watching my friend playing it. He wouldn't let me play it so...all my nostalgia is based of watching my friend...that douche bag kid...playing this game. That's all I could do... BUT NOW HUHUHUHUHU NOOOOW!! I CAN FINALLY GET MY VERY OWN ASS HANDLED BY THE GAME!!! And after playing all these modern games, I'm realizing I'm got kinda bad at video games. Which is a real shame. A real fucking shame. Also Steam..you can't be selling a game containing corrupted files....for 10€...I litteraly had to import files from the FUCKING pirated version INTO THE GAME. And you'll tell me..why not just play the pirated version huh? well because the only sound patch available on the fucking internet isn't working on the pirated version YET! works just fine on the Steam's one. STRANGE! ISN'T IT?! I WANTED TO PLAY IT CLASSY AND HONEST, STEEAM!! YOU! YOOUU MADE ME DO THIS!!! YOU DUN GOOF'D/10 Good fucking game after you spent a couple hours fixing it. (I actually just spent 2 bucks on it. YOOOLLOOOOO)

A no-nonsense third person shooter with pretty good writing if you like excessively noire stuff. There's no forced slow walking sections, you can be in-game shotting bad guys in 30 seconds tops. It does a lot of things right like putting ammo and weapons in all sort of places to make exploring worthwhile, you can also reach some spots by platforming which is something that hasn't been done in ages. The game is pretty hard even in the easiest difficulty because enemies all hit like a truck so you'll often need to roll instead of diving because the former is much safer. Using weapons efficiently is also something you need to do, even in the later levels your bread and butter shotgun will still see some use. There's lot of little details that are kind of useless but make the game that much better, bullet casings and shells dissapear only after a while, same for mags and corpses. If you're tired of "cinematic experience" third person shooters this is a pretty good alternative. Don't get this game if you're French though because the files are corrupted.

This version attracts you with it's name 'Max Payne', but its Max Payne (FR);, which means you are forced to play the game only in french - if it ever gets launched.. Yes, that is another issue with this version. You have to download a lot more patches only to realize that gameplay is corrupted and its in french.. voila!

It's a great game! Buy it! ... If your pc runs on Windows XP. Cause Steam didn't checked if it works on Win 10 before keeping selling the game.
