other than needing an audio fix, which "old geek guy" on youtube has a great guide too. this gameholds up today is still loads of fun with great voice acting and a great story.

one of the best game ever to have come out it absolutelty walks all over any kind of shooter till date fact and there is no argument! the story line is absolutely beautiful, hard to come by, creative, which 2025 lacks entierly this is one of the best game release and story's about pushing a man beyond his means and see what happens, glory to god what a game!! :D

This game came out 2 years before I was born, and the second game came out the year I was born, and when the third one came out I was like 9 years old still playing CoD, Pokemon, and whatever else game I was fascinated with at the time. Therefore, I wasn't able to play this series at all, but I really wanted to because I've heard great things about it. I decided to pick up the entire series during the Steam summer sale and I just finished this first one. Obviously, playing a 2001 game in 2025 and being so used to modern gaming can make this a bit of a hard playthrough, since this game does not hold your hand. I died a good bit on just the regular difficulty, and the F5 key became my best friend. Other than the 2001 jank and having to download the community fix (HIGHLY RECOMMEND), I can see how this game started a good franchise and became a classic. The writing was good and the comic strip art style was really cool, and who doesn't love some gritty new your in a noir setting? Awesome start to the series, easily a 8/10 for me!

One of my favourite games when I played it in 2002 and to replay it again in 2025 was amazing. It runs not well on new PC's but thanks to the Steam workshop patches it runs and looks even better than before. Great game!

My favourite childhood game. Still returning to it from time to time and its still better than most of todays games. I bet many will like it even without nostalgia. Really recommend ;)

Max Payne has aged like fine wine. The bullet time still thrills, making every gunfight feel cinematic. Its graphic novel-style storytelling is amazing , pulling you into Max’s dark world. Even after all these years, it’s a moody, unforgettable ride that still hits just as hard.
