--Will be updating as I play/unlock/discover more--
Lunch A Palooza is an apparent heir to those party games from the PS1/N64 time. The premise is simple: be a d**k of a food and annoy your friends by establishing your supremacy as the king of the table, whether they like it or not.
Elements like the music, the graphics, the controller prompts, remind me of the good ol' Mario Party (and others in that style) games. Which, if you are into nostalgia as much as myself, is a great thing.
If you are part of the "what's a VHS" age group, you'll definitely appreciate the simplicity of the interface and overall accessibility.
There's an online mode, but the local multiplayer is the main thing I've been playing and the main course of this Lunch. Again, the game itself it's simple, and it is a party game: without a party you might not enjoy it too much, but the moment two or more people get together to play, it's super enjoyable. I really hope more content/modes are released, maybe different minigames to bring more value to this small gem.
So get yourself a controller (or two, or three) and as many friends and hit the kitchen!

Un gran juego para disfrutar en compañía de amigos. Los controles se sienten extremadamente responsivos, y es bastante agradable que cada personaje tenga habilidades propias con las cuales puedes destruir a tus amigos.

Very funny fighting game. I had it since the early access and now it feels very solid. Scenarios are very cool and they have a bunch of secrets that can help you turn the table (ha!). Totally recomended if you're looking for a good game to play with your friends.

A fast paced multiplayer game.
Visually it is very atractive, the scenarios are compelling and full of motion and collor, blend well with all the action.
Artworks are fully original, as backgrounds, characters are all custom made and all have their personalities.
All characters are unique, in both style and abilities. Some are easy to master, others are harder, but they are all rewarding.
Gamewise, it is an action packed, kick them all game. The fun is always guaranteed since you can compete amongst friends and include some cpus to harden the matches.
Overall it is a very nice and fun game, greeat for multiplayer and solo play alike.

Look, this game has a lot of bugs that need to be squished but hey, it's a pretty chill party game to play with your mates! Looking forward to seeing what the devs have in store for the game in the future!

Fun little party game to play with friends occasionally. Not meant to be taken that seriously, I would for sure recommend it when it's on sale.

I liked the concept, but I think there is work to be done to improve the physics and gameplay. It's very unclear how far we or our opponents will be thrown by each attack. I first tried the sandwich and I hated playing with it. Then I tried the jelly and the attack range was much more clear.
I would say that maybe it would be a nice fit if adopting a mechanism similar to S Smash Bros that the more you get hit, the farther you would go when getting hit.

Lunch A Palooza it's a passion project made by some awesome guys I had the privilege to work with. This is their first released game and for a studio that had absolutelly no budget or experience this is incredible. Now said that, here's the things that I love about this game:
---{Graphics}---
This game is aestheticly pleasing, this is without doubts the most polished feature on the game. Animations, VFX, color palletes and illustrations are all constistent and vibrant.
---{Audio}---
Audio it's the second best thing about the game (for me). It has a wide variety of genres and styles depending on the level. Listening mariachis on Axolotlan is the cherry on the top.
---{Audience}---
Another thing I love about Lunch it's his accesibility, having the posibility to play with any person regardless of his age or familiarity with videogames it's priceless. (but also generates some cons on the gameplay)
---{Gameplay}---
I'm in a hate-love relationship with this apparment; Sometimes I love it's simplicity, sometimes I would like to see deeper mechanics like counter-attacks, advanzed dashes and jumps. But at the end once you are familiar with the controlls you still may able to pull some pro-movements and feel like a total boss.
---{PC Requirements}---
You can run this on a calculator powered by a potato.
Now, the negative aspects of the game are pretty normals when starting on game dev, which is tons of bugs. Almost all of them are my fault so, sorry for that... but if you are whiling to give the game a chance and time, most of them will be patched.
