A very good expansion, but they shifted the difficulty from tough (in the base game) to way too easy. They added an OP hammer that makes it nearly impossible to fail. Still, highly recommended.

A climax of new enemies and arenas will put you to the test. The environment art is fantastic. The only thing I didn’t like about this DLC was the final boss. Every time he successfully hits you he gets some of his health back. This can make for an unpleasantly long fight if you can’t find your dodge rhythm during the duel. If you enjoyed The Ancient Gods Part 1 then you’ll almost certainly enjoy this DLC.

Beautiful scenery and environments. The HAMMER is crazy fun and adds another layer to DOOM Eternal's gameplay. Easier than TAG 1 but thats because you get so good from TAG 1 that TAG 2 feels like a breeze. But this DLC is definitely more balanced, has greater enemy variety and much more fun arenas.

Challenging, but not the fun kind. It may be the greatest skill issue ever, but I was playing on the easiest difficulty, and the final boss nearly had me in tears it was so difficult. Story is great though.

Wow was I disappointed with the final boss fight. This whole build up of fighting doom guy's counter part is actually just the mos boring boss fight ever created. He's just a marauder with extra bits. I have never been so bored playing Doom as I was in the boss fight. So much potential wasted with a shitty ending.

This DLC is even worse than the Part One. You can smell the heavy sweat to force some new mechanic into the game and also struggle out some new content and lore to the game. Unfortunately neither of these work. They feel out of place, unnecessary, illogical, and unexpected and basically stupid. The story continuation and maps are truly poor quality. Also in many places it has Serious Sam vibes: For example when you get extra ammo put some monsters in your face. How creative. In Serious Sam at least this felt okay.

Polar opposite of the first DLC. Fun levels, with fun exploration even though they don't lead to much. New enemies, and a new weapon that adds something new to the combat. Succeeds everywhere the first DLC fails.

Time to be a contrarian. I enjoyed Part Two way more than I did Part One. Old Gods Part Two improves upon everything Part One failed at, and then some. I see some people disliking the final fight, but I preferred the Dark Lord's battle WAY more than I did Seraphim's. I liked the new platforming additions, as well. Using the meathook to fly through areas was super fun. All in all, a much needed improvement over Part One. Still not worth 20 bucks, though. Wait until it goes on sale.

That final boss fight is *so fucking boring* You don't get to interact with the boss until it does a certain attack that's supposedly more common if you stay close. It's only more common because the alternative is 'never' I like the rest of the lore. I like (most) of the rest of the missions, but the boss is so fucking bad it overshadows the rest of it.
