Great game I will never forget my first impression when I tried to play in 2009 for the first time. Great that bugs are fixed and files are extracted so i can mod it without using data extracter and console commands. Seriously, no other space game provides such a dose of realism, battle, space and spaceship control. I see a lot of people complaining that it is impossible to steer the ship manually, YOU CAN! use shift + left click, you can even place your own navpoints with N + left click and you can fly wherever your heart desires. This game needs to be continued. Interestingly, there are many hidden things in this game, such as level 4 elite experience which is almost impossible to get without moding the game. There are also many hidden or unfinished weapons, engines etc that I will try to bring back to life and put into the campaign, this game has tremendous potential even to this day.

Very good game, althought its old. Worth to read something on how to play, how to power your systems, how to repair ships between missions and change loadout. It is bit hidden in UI. Still good game despite that.
