A new edition of this game with better quality of life would have been great.
But, no, this is the exact same game as in 1997, just made compatible with modern hardware.
With this low price tag, I would have been fine with it, but this version of the game lacks the campaign videos for some reason.
The setting and art have charm. The gameplay gimmick (adding limbs to creatures) is not that deep in term of strategy, but it's original and fun. But the quality of life is terrible (as expected from a 1997's RTS), the pathfinding doesn't work 90% of the time and the AI is one of the dumbest I have seen in an RTS.
In a nutshell, this game is for the people who played it 25 years ago and feel nostalgia, and those who want to explore the weirdest retro games. Other people probably won't have fun, this is not a great game and not a good version of it.
