Richtig gutes Game. Hat richtig viel Spaß gemacht zu spielen :)

Ich kann es einfach nicht empfehlen. Ich wollte es mögen. Ich habe es wirklich versucht aber es ist einfach nicht gut genug. Es wird wenig bis gar nichts erklärt. Am Anfang hat man keinerlei Fähigkeiten, die das Spiel angenehm machen. Eventuell im Sale. MAX 9.99€ aber selbst das ist schon viel. Musik ist klasse und die Grafik ist auch schön. Tröstet allerdings nicht über die Negativpunkte hinweg.

Cyber Shadow is a perfectly OK game. It is never outstandingly fantastic nor is it ever really bad. And this "middle of the road" stance runs through this game's veins: When everything works out, you're dashing and slashing through the stage in style and grace. If not, it changes from resembling Ninja Gaiden to resembling Super Meat Boy instead. Extremely short invincibility times after getting hit + a decent knockback on hit + a plethora of instant-death traps that don't even respect what little invincibility you have, and you have parts of the game that feel more like a puzzle than anything else. It's a pendulum between great and meh parts, between fluent and fast action and slow and frustrating platforming, between spot-on controls and moves that often defy muscle-memory. The games story is also perfectly servicable. It's a "save the girl, avenge the clan/family" kind adeal. Perfectly OK, but not particularly intriguing. The de-facto highlights are the graphics and sound department. If you like pixelart, you're gonna love this! It's authentic without being overly obsessed with sticking to atrtificial limitations. The soundtrack is absolutely solid as well. Plenty of tracks that got stuck in my head or where i unavoidedly started humming along while playing. And here as well, it sounds authentic without limiting itself too much. Overall, Cyber Shadow is a solid recommendation. The game's biggest fault is just how "OK" it is. Its great and not so great moments are kept in balance, creating a perfectly fine game that may not survive the test of time, but right now, is absolutely worth playing!

Geile NES-Style Optik und super flüssiges Gameplay. Gegen Ende teils aber schon sehr knackig vom Schwierigkeitsgrad.

I really dont get what all the fuss is about with this game. It starts of kinda meh, the intro levels are all fun but the story is lackluster at best until the later chapters. And when you reach the later chapters the difficulty ramps up to a point where it becomes a slug fest. Maybe im just not the type for this game, but dying 40+ times to get from checkpoint to checkpoint because I "havent found the flow of the level" where it all makes perfect sense yet is a terrible excuse for lackluster game design. I really wanted to like this game, coming from the messenger i was hoping for another great and fun platformer, but for me this misses the mark completly, it's way too intense for my casual skills and i dont see the point in frustrating myself for an hour until i give up every day after work. Im probably gonna finish it, but im never touching it again, this game feels more like a chore to me, which misses the mark for a game completly. If you are into challenging retro games this is definitely the game for you, but if your looking for a fun casual experience this isnt it.
