I thought a game from Konami must be good. But in vr they fail totally. Can not recommend this game, too many bugs.

Ich hab ZOE 1 auf der PS2 gezockt und es auf eine seltsame art und weise geliebt, aber dies ist einfach nur billiger Müll. Technisch ist es schlechter als teil 1, PC Port ist ne Katastrophe was man schon im Intro merkt, da man auf der Tastatur B drücken muss um das Intro zu überspringen da es selbst das Gamepad im intro nicht regestriert. Die Story ist BS und hat keinerlei Tiefgang. Die Voice Actor wurden vermutlich alle in ner Ubahn gecastet und mussten dort auch ihre Rollen einsprechen. Kurzum, dies ist in meinen Top 10 der all time worst Game ever. Selbst geschenkt, sollte sich niemand damit abgeben müssen. Es macht mich regelrecht wütende dieses Game erlebt zu haben und ich bereue es überhaupt weiter als bis zum Intro ertragen zu haben

Played the original alot back then and the HD version. This PC version has some minor sound bugs from time to time in fights but overall ZoE is still one of the greatest Mech games in history. The Combat is fluid and the story is amazing. It might have it's age under it's belt but the 4k version is just amazing and when i think back the Original already looks amazing without those Fan glasses. If you like the Mech genre then this is a must play.

Im Grunde ein gutes Spiel, aber wer mal wissen möchte, warum PC Ports von japanischen Spielen so einen schlechten Ruf haben, darf sich gerne dieses Spiel antun. Fängt bei Soundproblemen an, und hört auf bei den leeren Versprechen und der Untätigkeit der Entwickler, die seit Jahren von den Bugs wissen. Die Entwickler sind genauso ein fauler Haufen, wie die Typen von Nier Automata...

Movement, Gameplay und Ästhetik in "Zone Of The Enders 2", gefallen mir sehr gut 💚

I liked it back on ps2 and i like it now, everything is like it was and it looks better. I hope zoe1 gets a port and a third game, maybe an another anime haha?

If you are looking for a playable anime, look no further. The classic Zone of the Enders: The Second runner is still an absolute blast to play in 2023. Thanks to the timeless art style, great anime cutscenes and fantastic music it also is still an audiovisual treat. Some games age like fine wine. Same goes for the gameplay. Zone of the Enders: Second Runner is a lightning fast arcade action game. Don’t expect a mech simulator here. It plays more like a typical third person japanese action game with shooting and lots of melee. Standard enemies are pretty easy to kill, but boss fights become more technical and challenging. Thanks to several difficulty levels this can be enjoyed casually or in a more hardcore way. The only thing that frequently gets into the way of the fun are the camera controls. Here the game shows its age with some clunky controls and overall poor camera management, especially in tighter places. Something the remaster could have addressed. Further disappointment comes with the fact that the game does not support Japanese voice overs in the western version (mods can fix that). There are also some bugs like non-working L3+R3 triggers that can influence dialogue in the game - it’s not a game breaking issue but widespread and something that should have been patched a long time ago. So yeah, the remaster itself is a bit half-assed but the underlying game is still fantastic and gets a strong recommendation from me.

Eines der besten PS2 Spiele endlich auf Steam! Saubere Grafik in 4k Auflösung, tolle Anime Sequenzen, schnelle Mech-Action und ein toller Soundtrack, machen dieses kurze Abenteuer absolut Empfehlenswert.

Einzigartiges Spiel obwohl es vor 15 Jahren erschienen ist, hoffe immer noch auf eine fortsetzung der Reihe.
