The AI is a glaring liability. Allies routinely sabotage frontlines by abandoning fortified positions for nonsensical naval invasions, while enemy forces exhibit baffling priorities (e.g., Italy sending 50 divisions to die in the Himalayas). Pathfinding issues plague land and naval units alike, with armies opting to march through enemy territory rather than accessible allied routes. Worse, the tutorial is a cruel joke. New players are thrown into a 1936 sandbox with zero guidance on core mechanics like technology synergy or officer ratios. Paradox's notorious "learn by failure" design philosophy reaches its peak here—expect to lose 20-hour campaigns because you misallocated a single factory type in 1937. Performance is another letdown. Late-game lag turns even modest hardware into slideshows, and crashes during autosaves can erase hours of progress. Mods like *Black ICE* fix some issues but highlight how incomplete the vanilla experience feels. For all its promise of historical authenticity, *HOI3* feels less like a war simulator and more like an unpaid internship in database management. Stick with *HOI4* or *Darkest Hour* for actual fun.

Alright fam, let’s hit Paradox with that historical accuracy smoke they love so much. Yo Paradox devs, y’all really out here making Tibet a separate tag in your games while Sweden’s sitting there un-cucked? LMAO, double standards much? Imagine if we made a game where Denmark occupied Stockholm for 700 years, turned it into a loyal province, and then some Nordic LARPers in 2023 start screeching "FREE SWEDEN!" while ignoring centuries of integration. You’d call that Nordic separatist cope, right? But when China does the same thing with Tibet—ya know, administrative integration since the YUAN DYNASTY—suddenly it’s "controversial"? Bro, touch grass. Sweden got conquered by Denmark back in the Kalmar Union days, but you don’t see Paradox slapping "Danish occupied territory" on EU4’s Sweden. Nah, Gustav Vasa’s rebellion gets treated as based. But Tibet, which literally had Chinese governors and taxes paid to the Emperor? "Oh no, it’s a mystical independent kingdom!" Copium overdose, much? Fix your sh*t, Paradox. If Vic3’s Sweden tag is SWE, not some DEN puppet state, then maybe stop pretending Tibet wasn’t part of China’s core territories since forever.

我建议你们再多注重一点印度市场,我们中国人口没有印度多,以后每个游戏争取出几个印度主题的DLC,哦对了我记得古斯塔夫二世的父母都是印度人来着,我没有证据,但是我就是要说,就像你们给印度丝绸之路一样。HOI4锁中国区是吧,没事,我会再每个P社游戏评论区尽力而为的。

As a long-time player of Paradox's games, I am deeply disappointed by the company's persistent failure to address racial insensitivity and discriminatory practices within both its development culture and community management, particularly concerning Chinese players. Paradox’s community management has repeatedly sidelined concerns from Chinese players. Paradox’s legacy of racial insensitivity and poor community management is unacceptable for a company that profits from global. Chinese players are part of your community too. We have purchased your games, and our voices deserve to be acknowledged and respected, not dismissed or suppressed through bans. Chinese players have consistently submitted their feedback to the Paradox development team in a respectful manner over the years, yet clearly, these efforts have proven futile throughout the past eight years. This ultimately culminated in the Indian region being prioritized over China in acquiring core status for the Tibet region. When objectives cannot be achieved through peaceful means, the inevitable eruption of intense conflict becomes unavoidable. While I sincerely hope to avoid further escalation of tensions, this incident represents the accumulated outburst of long-suppressed dissatisfaction among Chinese players toward Paradox. Had Paradox genuinely respected Chinese players and proactively addressed their concerns on multiple occasions, this situation would never have arisen. To those who argue "it's just a game – no need to politicize it," I pose a counter-question: Why then have player-created mods been removed from the platform?

P社的游戏策划下班回到家看到自己的老婆在床上跟一个阿三造合作政府,想开门制止发现自己没有军事通行权,好不容易造好宣称发现自己老婆和阿三被岳父保独了 The Paradox game designer returned home after work, only to find his wife forming a collaboration government with an Indian on the bed. He tried to open the door to stop them, only to realize he had no military access. After finally justifying a war goal, he discovered that his wife and the Indian had been guaranteed independence by his father-in-law.
