Absolutely recommend AOE 1...Exactly the same feeling I got 1998 or so; you gonna open a history book and totally enjoy it, with a lot of fun! The video quality is good enough,the model of workers/troops is great enough; The music has more layers The buildings has lots of details, when they tore down it looks good! The campaign is really good, I have aoe1-4 and the storyline of aoe1 aint bad devs did remake a lot while wheres much to do: 1. AI ....same as 1998...workers dont know how to find the road and they always stuck together and having a little meeting till you try to fix it. 2. Tech tree is basically the similar and you will find them in economy buildings. 3. Sometimes the whole game fakedead for few seconds,dont panic just wait...or game does crash. 4. Hard to control trooops to launch an offense,they always running around and doing nothing(they cant find road too) Anyway, AOE 1 DO worth purchase and you gonna have lots fun
