Controls are atrocious and unmappable.
Insanity!
The basic games are fantastic, of course, but steer clear unless you have a controller or they patch the game to allow key binding.

Really cool compilation of all 6 games of the Megaman Zero series, which is a really good challenging action platformer with small RPG aspects depending on the entry. The addition of the Z Chaser mode, where you fight against speed running ghosts to see who finish the level first is a good addition, plus all the art and music inside the game.
Runs like butter on the Steam Deck without any extra configuration, so it's become a staple on mine since I downloaded it. Worthy purchase when on sale (regular pricing is still too high after all these years).

All 4 Zero + 2 ZX games included in the collection at an unbeatable price, this is definitely one that cannot be ignored or denied. The added save-assist feature make the games is far more enjoyable and accessible than their original versions.

My personal favorite Mega Man games. I would not recommend getting into battle network, the X series are a mix bag, the mainline mega mans are good run 'n' gun classics, but the zero/zx ones? Those I like the most.

I really love it. Megaman Zero 4 was my first and only one for over 10 years until I saw the collection and realized two more games exits after Zero 4 and I got to experience Zero 1-3 too. I Played ZX and ZX Advent for the first time back in March 2025 and loved it even more than the others. Humans becoming Megaman with animations yelling Mega Merge is better than playing as Robots. I'm in love with ZX Advent the most.

One of my earliest gaming memories is playing Megaman Zero 2 on my old GBA. I never finished it as a kid, but it lived rent free in my brain ever since. So when I saw it on sale 15+ years later, I bought it without much toughts.
I went in thinking, “Surely I was just a dumb kid who didn’t understand game mechanics.”
Now I realize:
I just suck.
It's a good collection though, highly recommended if you enjoy pain, nostalgia, and pretending you're better at games than you really are.
