Developed by High Voltage Software who are really known for shovelware but it was published by Gamemill Entertainment. Who you know might know from other titles they've published like Skull Island: Rise of Kong and Walking Dead: Destinies. This game is a top down twin stick shooter. The game is fairly harmless just being very generic and can easily be beaten in just two hours. You can unlock other characters but they're just reskins of the original four sharing the same special skills. This game is an easy achievement completion. Out of all the cast, Abigail Breslin (Little Rock), is the only one to voice her character. This would explain why she has the most lines in the entire game. Eisenberg, Stone, and Harrelson are all impersonators although the Harrelson impersonator is spot on most of the time. The writing is obnoxious and bad. Obnoxiously bad. Whether that's too blame on the developers or the second movie I have no clue. I never saw the sequel and have no plans to ever do. The first movie however I adore and had decent writing. That's the thing the first movie came out in 2009. The sequel came out in 2019. Had this game tie-in came out along side the movie in 2009 I'm sure it would of done decently. If you're looking for something quick to play or an achievement hunter this game is fine. It's a game to turn your brain off to. Just be cautious of the atrocity writing. Plus this is a licensed game so sooner or later it'd be delisted, so if you like to collect/preserve games regardless of their quality, I'd pick it up.

Not great, but not terrible. The game has a decent amount of content, with 10 main mission levels, 4 smaller side mission levels and 3 different horde mode maps, along with a good amount of unlockable characters. On the whole, I played it, I enjoyed it for the most part, and I think it's pretty okay.
