Playtime: 33 minutes
I spent 33 minutes playing BL2VR, and those minutes were not spent actually playing the game, but trying to get it to launch correctly in SteamVR. This port is smelly, and a game as good as goddang Borderlands deserves a better VR remake than this heap of jank.

"I put on a headset and woke up in a cel-shaded fever dream with guns, psychos, and a raccoon yelling at me. 10/10." Borderlands 2 VR is what happens when you take a perfectly good looter-shooter, inject it with caffeine, strap it to your face, and scream “BAMF TIME!” while dual-wielding shotguns. It’s chaotic, hilarious, and occasionally nausea-inducing—but in a fun way, like a rollercoaster made of explosions and sarcasm. Highlights: - 🔫 Gunplay feels amazing. I accidentally punched a wall trying to reload. Worth it. - 🧨 BAMF Time is like bullet time, but sassier. It lets you slow down the chaos just enough to admire your own bad decisions. - 🗣️ NPCs are uncomfortably close now. Claptrap in VR is like having a hyperactive toaster whispering in your ear. - 🎨 The art style is gorgeous. It’s like living inside a comic book drawn by someone with a flamethrower. Side effects may include: - 🤷 No co-op. It’s just you and your imaginary friends. And Handsome Jack. Mostly Handsome Jack. - 🧠 Menus are a mini-game. Inventory management feels like trying to fold a fitted sheet in zero gravity. - 🤢 Motion sickness roulette. Will you survive the ride? Spin the headset and find out! Final Thoughts: Borderlands 2 VR is like eating spicy tacos while skydiving—messy, intense, and weirdly satisfying. If you’ve ever wanted to loot a bazillion guns while dodging psychos in 3D, this is your moment. "I came for the loot. I stayed for the chaos. I left with a headset imprint on my forehead."
