“Bought a bag of venom and I wish I Really, really, really didn't~ 🎶” ~Yoda (Bad Lip Reading)
So... a VR game for... $0.99? Huh. Based on popular b-movie series with Ian Ziering too. There must be a catch. Right? I mean, a good VR game can't cost less than a buck. It just can't. Sure, it's not like the original Sharknado VR was a good game to begin with. Exactly the opposite. It's was a mess. Feel free to check out my detailed review if you want details, but long story short – it was a very basic shooting gallery, in which you were supposed to shoot sharks, while avoiding (or destroying) everything else that used to fly at you. Doesn't sound that bad, but the problem is – it was ridiculously cheap and half-broken game. It was all about half-broken controls and terrible physics, thanks to which it was hard to even tell what did just hit you. It was pretty short too and only had four levels. So, da f*ck is this “arcade edition” and why is it so cheap? Well, the thing is... it's a scam. Simple like that. “Arcade Edition” of Sharknado VR is just a demo. There's only one level here (LA, the first level from the full game), all the weapons are unlocked since very beginning and there's no way to upgrade them. It looks like our usual demo, it feels like our usual demo and, well, it is our usual demo. There's literally nothing else to say. It's just a demo of a very, very bad game. Nothing else here and even that cheesy intro wasn't included. So, here's the question – why? No, seriously, why? It's not like I'm angry about wasting a buck (pretty sure I can afford that, lol), it's just... When somebody tries to scam you for a single buck? Guess, it says something about 'em. Shame on you, Autumn VR. Then again, some people just don't care about their bad reputation. One way or another, don't you even think paying for this. Even though it costs only one buck, it still doesn't worth it. Dixi.

If you go into ‘Sharknado VR (Arcade Edition)’ looking for a game that is just as terribly made as the movies you should get what you are expecting. While the only difference I can see between the original game and this new “Arcade Edition” is all the weapons being unlocked, the rest seems like the same game. It’s an action shooter that sees you shooting sharks that are flying towards you from a tornado with a range of weapons, most of which run out of ammo pretty quickly. It’s windy, post-apocalyptic and the graphics are OK at best. Gameplay-wise the game will leave you questioning ‘Is this game bad because it is supposed to be a terrible game on a shoestring budget just like the movies? Or is it bad because it was made badly? ‘ For just £0.79 it’s worth a look, but the answer to that question is Yes, in both ways. If I could give it a neutral rating I would have, but it did make me laugh with how sh1t it was, so I gave it the thumbs up.

There is only one level and it lasts for 5 minutes. The original version of the game has multiple levels and I assumed this was an arcade-ified version of that game but it's just one level and you start with all the weapons. Not even worth the $1. Just get the original version on sale instead.
