It's Dynasty Warriors. 1 v 1000 games are a hit, that's why this game is a good seller. Just buy it. You'll have fun.

Negative review because as of a few weeks ago, story mode no longer works. After you choose your faction and difficulty it gets to the loading screen and crashes to desktop. Noticed that it's become a hot topic recently in discussions. Legend and the other mode works fine.

would not recommend, impossible to tell what buttons are being remaped as theyre labed with a werid code looking name, camera is uncontrollable and half the keybord buttons didnt register. Sucks bc this is a childhood fav and was excited when i realized it was on here but yeah T_T. If you deside to get it anyways i hope you have a better exp then i did

I played DW7 on the 360 when it first came out. I was disappointed overall. You couldn't play as anyone but the assigned character in Story Mode, the Legend Mode wasn't good enough to replace Free Mode, and it was just too short of a game. This Definitive Edition fixes all those issues. I'm hooked.

The controls on pc are awfull even when using an xbox controller buttons are messed up and you still have to use your keyboard to pause and exit. camera isn't mapped to the second joystick on defaulf but is on the triggers who made the decision for that.

If you wanna know about the story of the three kingdoms era, this game was an absolute banger, in terms of the story this Dynasty Warriors was the best among all of the other Dynasty Warriors games, If you confuse about Dynasty Warriors titles cause it got so many games don't worry cause every Dynasty Warriors titles always had the same story, and this game was the best in terms of story telling, Absolute Masterpiece

This is probably the best way to experience the Romance of the Three Kingdoms story, aside from actually reading it. It does a wonderful job of dramatizing and simplifying the era, without leaving too much out. The less important characters are kinda left out, but the important ones are done so well that it doesn't even matter. You'll get some pretty awesome and memorable character moments out of this game, and all of the arcs are really satisfying to see happen. My one complaint about the story is that sometimes, it can be a bit too fast paced. Wu especially suffers from this, in my opinion. But the rest of it is amazing, and justifies playing this game alone. The problem with this game is that if you've played any other recent Warriors game, the gameplay is REALLY rough. I honestly had to switch to easy mode for 3/4 of the campaigns, because normal mode was so boring, and hard mode was just the same thing but everyone got more health. The gameplay really just is a worse version of DW8's, and it causes the game to feel rather mindless at times. There were moments in the game where I missed side objectives, and I thought it was going to be cool, because now I'd have to deal with more stuff complicating the mission. Nope. If you just focus on the main objective, the complications don't really matter at all. All in all, it's a really really good story!! Just packaged in a game that's not as fun as others in its genre. The story really carries this one, and can definitely keep your interest, if you can deal with the mediocre gameplay. So I'd give it a 7/10. Lianshi and Wang Yuanji should both beat me up I think
