Absolute worse game ever invented. I tried it with multi guides and video as people for some reason call it a good rpg... Its absolutely unplayable I tried all starting char its the same no idea where you are going or why barely any story. You need course just to know what to do there no story or point to doing it so you end up just walking around randomly fighting battle and boss for no reason and then not feeling like anything moves ahead even the guide and walkthrough dont agree on what your next step are nothing nothing NOTHING in game give you any clue tried both 2-3 same thing in seem to be how this series is made no story no point random boss battles in random pointless area I guess folks like the team dev and challenge of the bosses? I dont know what these trash games are but these are not RPG you need a story and a point for something to be an RPG o.O

There's so much unexpected content and mechanics jammed in this little game, if I played this game when it came out it would have kept me entertained for hundreds of hours. The game plays more like Saga Frontier than it does Romancing Saga 2, and it's a weaker game than Romancing Saga 2. You'll can very easily ruin your first playthrough completely by messing up questlines by playing the game "wrong". Don't go into dungeons without having a REASON to go there or you'll miss characters, questlines, screw up your ability to level, miss dialogue and story etc. Don't walk around with 6 party members otherwise you'll miss quests and new recruits. You have to talk to every npc in every town.

As much as I have always loved the freedom you get with a Saga game, this one doesn't seem to have much direction. I didn't play for long because I got incredibly bored with the lack of direction. You get told 3 places to look at then the map lets you go to one that you can't complete then you leave only to go COMPLETELY somewhere else...plus you keep losing characters, and they don't leave their stuff when they leave so all the weapons, armor, and items they have equipped leaves with them. Not a fan
