Girls in Glasses Reviews

It's what you'd expect from the price, a distilled version of more expensive VNs with less choices and more obvious routes. Better than expected but nothing standing out either. The art, particularly from the 18+ patch, is a lot better than the typical styles used in a lot of VNs, and it had more emotional scenes than I had been expecting going in. That said, it's not without problems. The routes up until you're locked in feel largely identical, as all characters are treated equally even if you're only following one, and the story feels afraid to branch off until you're past the point of no return with the decisions. I can see that they didn't want to have any "Bad ends", and you just end up on the friendship route with Ken if you mess up, but it still felt a bit pointless. The routes themselves were overall alright, though it felt at times like it was forcing emotion onto you rather than naturally. For example, [spoiler]Kana's route is the only one where Hidekazu's past is mentioned at all, and it had zero buildup and ended up being inconsequential anyway. Iroha's felt extraordinarily quick, and I didn't really feel like she had a real connection with Hidekazu given he spent the whole time being neutral or annoyed by the things she does and likes.[/spoiler]. I have nothing I hate, and for the price it is worth it, but don't expect a well designed storyline. The 18+ scenes were essentially just shoved into the main story without much regard for pacing, but that's not an issue specifically with this game as much as it for anything in the genre.

Can't get the game to even start, at least on one computer, on my other one, it works fine, it's a simple story, not exactly deep, but it's fun, if you can get it working anyway

A VN game that plays like old school dating sim games. You play as a student at an academy starting a new school year, and over 2~3 weeks go through his daily life. Each day there comes a chance to choose where you would like to go or who you would like to visit, and with this mechanic you can build your bond level with one of the 3 main heroines. When you get to a romantic path the story becomes charming. the background art is well done and some of the sentimental BGMs are nice. There is an official 18+ patch available online if you fancy that

[h1] What i don't like [/h1] - the other two girl [h1] conclusion [/h1] i only had 1 girl that physcially appeal to me, so i only focus on her line. didn't paly the other two, but from the images, i think if you are looking for the +18, they might look good.

Nice visual novel. Protagonist is a second-year senior. Love interests are your childhood friend, a mysterious upper classman, and an underclassman, who also happens to be student council president. Who you hang out with will determine your path. And while the story takes place over about three weeks, it is cute. And sexy. Recommend.

I've Bought this game a total of three times. To put it simply, I just thought the boys and I would enjoy this spectacle. Fortunately, we're all happy to inform you that we've most certainly not been disappointed. Will definitely make sure to mention (and recommend) this masterpiece next time I'm kicking a footie around with Tom Jones (heard he's a big fan of the genre). I do believe Tom Jones' opinion will be quite propitious towards the rapidly growing fandom of "Girls in Glasses".

Girls In Glasses is short, enjoyable VN/dating simulator. All characters have their own specific personalities and own problems. You've got 3 girls - Iroha-senpai, Kotomi and Kana and, of course, you have to choose one of them early in the story to be a succesful in the end. Once you decide who will be your waifu, it's best to follow her through the "calendar" until the very end. The story is pretty simple, the art is nice and every one of your potential girlfriends wears glasses! It took me approximately 7 hours to finish the game. Overall, this is a decent game, pretty cheap. Of course, it's not a 30$ VN so don't expect miracles. But it's entertaining anyways. - I didn't play 18+ mode - Iroha is the best ;)

[i]Girl in Glasses[/i] is an enjoyable and worthwhile visual novel. The protagonist is fairly standard for an MC, but not annoyingly so. I enjoyed the interactions he had with the other characters. Regarding the essential characters, there are four, one of which serves as the generic route. [b]Iroha[/b] is the shy and mysterious upperclassman, [b]Kana[/b] is the energetic childhood friend, and [b]Kotomi[/b] is the serious underclassman; [u]Ken[/u], as I mentioned before, serves as the generic route and is the protagonist's close male friend. The story is simple, but it is enjoyable enough as the protagonist explores each route individually and uncovers more of the heroines' personalities. Speaking of which, the routes are straightforward, so long as you dedicate each day to the desired heroine, you will unlock their ending. Overall, this VN serves to satisfy the romance/harem/eroge genre by providing something short, simple, and pleasant. For the price, I think you're getting a complete package here and can genuinely recommend it.

It's your basic eroge vnovel. That said the characters all had their own personalities which, in-fact, would impart different personalities in the protagonist. They all have their own personal struggle and it (pleasantly) doesn't cause you to have a "Oh you picked her? Well I'm going to tell you how bad of a person you are!" trope. It's a surprisingly in-depth game for it's low price, short story, and overly-simplistic title. All-in-all it's worth the purchase if you're looking for a romantic vnovel with un-animated H-Scenes. Word of warning storywise, however, [spoiler] basically speaking there is only one path at a time, so pick one person at a time for every daily choice and if they're not available then the backup is at your leisure but has no effect on your main choice [/spoiler]

Imma keep this review short as it is easy to describe the entire game. It is pretty much a cheaper version of your typical big japanese studio romance eroge with a school setting. If you want the eroge part you will have to download the r18 patch from denpasoft. It is shorter then those big studio ones, has a bit worse art, worse audio quality at the voice acting and the quality of the UI and all looks quite dated. At the same time it also doesnt do anything exactly badly. It just isnt as good as those VNs for like four times its price, but thats understandable as it is just cheaper. If you are looking for a cute VN with exactly that type of setting then you should be pleased with the end result, just dont expect the same quality and length as the big studio ones any yeah you will be happy. Oh and yeah it has a small twist, in that every heroine has glasses ^^. To summarize, decent VN for a good price.
