Great game! I was already a fan of tower defense games, but they really put an interesting spin on the genre that works well in VR.

Fun tower defence game which can get hard at times. There are only 4 towers but they seem to cover all types. There are only two weapons which is a bit limited and I did wish the projectiles of your guns were faster.

This looks like a really fun game. I don't know if I'm that dumb or what but i wish i could hit (new game) to fill my eyes with the relish this game is perceiving to be! Love the title screen though!

I'm a sucker for a good tower defense game that allows you to plan and strategize but also throws a wrinkle in here and there to keep you on your toes. As we all know, no plan survives first contact, and whether it responding to healing bots or force fields or armored units, you have to be on the lookout and respond quickly. I'm reminded of Orcs Must Die with the cheesy humor and frantic, in your face action. There's a little more structure here to make it work well in VR (ex. you move by jumping between towers), and the controls are not difficult to learn and feel good once you have them down (I'm playing on an Valve Index). You can also jump above each tower to get a bird's eye view which is handy when responding to new threats.

Lot of shine and personality for a VR game. I love TD and it does first person TD well enough. Could have used some more stand alone challenge maps like endless mode after campaign though to pad out replayability. Overall not bad for what it is. Hopefully a sequel might get more meat on the bones.

Cartoon - Strategy - Action I loved the silly story and characters, the Tower Defense element and strategize the toonrrets positions are key to success. The shooting can be a bit spammy at the beginning but the tech tree will take care of that problem quick enough. The latino references are right in my alley, I love that the team got to a point where they could just add a little bit of their culture into a game without getting in the way of the world or making in unaccessible to other cultures. Had a lot of fun and I can't wait for what comes next for the Captain! Fear The Mighty Chancla.

I bought this game quite some time ago and only got to play it today. It is a very polished game with an incredibly cool style that shows in gameplay, retro-inspired menus, and interface elements. I wholly recommend this game even if it's not on sale, and I'll be back in it shortly once my headset finishes charging.

I've only put a half hour or so into the game as of this review but I wanted to do what I could to spread the support for it. It's an interesting blend of high production values but also complete and total batshit lunacy wrapped up in a super tight Tower Defense Strategy game. Self-publishing this could not have been easy for the developers but the end result is something to absolutely not be missed. I don't want to ruin any details about the weapons or the enemies but this is the kind of high quality chaos that VR needs so much more of right now. The graphics are sharp and the game pumps out completely bonkers concepts on repeat like it's nothing. I love VR strategy games and this one absolutely blows the rest out of the water. Buy it and love it, it's just that easy.

I was on the fence on this one. It looked childish and yet fun. Well it most definitely is childish. The story and dialogue is just not entertaining enough so I end up skipping most of it. But it has a great style and it did get a few small chuckles from me. And the tower defense game sections are really good. It really makes me feel like I am playing an old newgrounds game in vr. It started off easy buy quickly got challenging. I can only assume I will get more stuff to unlock as I progress further. I wanted to keep playing last night when it was time to go to bed. Update. So I upgraded my gun to see weak spots...and this apparently broke the game. every enemy is now basically a one hit kill..even the dinosaur boss only takes a few hits to kill now. Its too easy now..way way too easy. I am starting a new game in hopes of keeping the challenge alive. No extra levels or game modes makes this not such a worthwhile game. ,,,Update again. A few more levels in and yet no more towers. I started with 3 and I still only have 3 towers. Im not sure i can recommend this anymore. Too easy and only 3 towers. I barely have any strategy. It plays more like a survival game because i am teleporting around the map because only i can really do damage. Last update...I actually just finished the game last night. And in the later levels the upgrades are definitely needed... it becomes super challenging..But there was only one more tower...and it is the coolest. And it did add just enough variety..even though i wished there was more. Because it feels like it really does not matter what tower I choose. Most of the damage is done by me. And It still feels like a survival game, but it was pretty fun. if a bit short. I want an endless wave mode. with lots of tower locations And it might just be me. But once we actually saw the villain...I loved it. The voice was just a voice, but that villain looks awseome..and I love the way he moves and looks. Overall I did enjoy the game. it is polished, I like the cartoony feel...Oh but hey!!! WHy dont we ever see toon head? Why toonhead? Oh well..
