Seven Days is a decent to good nakige, but it is let down a bit by some uneven writing. I'd still recommend it to anyone looking to read a visual novel with multiple cathartic releases, as it filled its job on the nakige side fairly well (I cried 6 times throughout which is uncommon for me). The writing that starts off very strong through the first 3-4 chapters unfortunately starts to drop off as it goes on. It also gives in a bit - major spoilers -
to the whole parallel universe / time travel tropes in order to create a truly "happy end". I personally dislike this as it tends to leave a bunch of questions, and I don't feel like it should've been in this story.
I think this story would've been better served by completely ignoring the "mystery" aspect of it and instead focusing on the emotional moments. Those emotional moments were the strongest writing in the VN, whereas the "mystery" writing was subpar to the point where I'm not even sure it is much of a mystery. Music was appropriate but minimal. Systems were straightforward and even include a bare bones TTRPG sim and some quick-time events which were appreciated. Despite its issues, I still enjoyed my time with this visual novel, although I spent far less than seven days reading it. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a decent nakige that doesn't mind it missing H content and can overlook some of its weaknesses, as the emotional bits are pretty strong.

Something out of the ordinary...This has to be one of the best VN i've read so far. It got a pretty good comedy, and romance. But most of all, it got the feels. A bit expensive but the story is worth it. I recommend getting at a sale or something if you're low on money, but trust me, it'll be one hell of a ride. Though don't expect an H-scene, 'cause this game doesn't have 'em, Which makes me glad. (There's no trading cards at the time of my review, but i really do hope the dev's would make one soon...)

Seven Days is a visual novel that mixes in suspense and the paranormal with friendship and romance. The protagonist is a male schoolboy who finds himself in the possession of a haunted disc, which eventually summons the spirits of a number of different schoolgirls - though only one of them, one named Chiyako, which can be described as the main spirit and the character central to this paranormal storyline, is human-like, the rest summoned in normally inanimate objects such as a teddy bear. The different spirits take turns spending 7 days in Chiako's body, before disappearing away, hence the name of the novel. The paranormal elements of the story mixes in all sorts of elements and plot lines of different Japanese horror stories, particularly from Ringu/The Ring, with a couple of scare jumps along the way, and a very dark back story, which, albeit the rather cute artwork of the novel, is not surprising once the background of the spirits is known. The bulk of the story is spent with the protagonist spending his days with the spirits, in a more upbeat, lighthearted, and comedic day to day narrative, with the different characters trying to make the most of their time together before the spirits one by one disappear. Though no single element of the story is exactly unique on its own, the whole story put together is. The main story is streamlined, though there are multiple choices along the way, that may lead to either a normal friendship, or a romantic outcome to - most of - each one of the individual spirits, or to one of the many quick available bad endings available throughout. There are also a number of quick action events along the way. It has great character development, though that is not even in that some characters do not get the romantic endings, and a few of the character storylines are rushed in comparison with others - including Chiyako's arcs too. One negative point of note is that the final chapter of the story can be confusing and hard to obtain without knowing the trigger. Compounding this confusion is the mention of another chapter ingame, supposedly to be added at a later moment, though nothing has been yet released yet. The artwork, as mentioned, is very cute-like, and is drawn very well. There are a good number of CGs, including a number of more suggestive ones for fan service purposes. It suits the light hearted day to day moments well, though drawings of darker overtones for the scarier, sadder, and/or serious part, would have been appreciated as well. I feel there the variety of individual character expressions is on the lower side, and sprites are not animated. The different spirits occupying Chiako's bodies during the seven days each have different colors, attire and personalities, though physically, they are the same, which does compound the lack of sprite variety of movement mentioned above. Music is of decent quality, with just enough tracks to fit in all different story parts. It is not something to come back though, and in any event there is no BGM selection to allow one to listen to the different tracks available, unfortunately. The voice acting is of ok quality, though like the music, is not 100% either. Overall, Seven Days is a solid and refreshing story well put together. It is not perfect in its execution, and the price may be a tad high for what it offers, but nevertheless I enjoyed it quite a bit. 8/10

So... Seven Days, or Seven Days With You: The Most Precious Memory in Our Lives... *sigh* ... It's all too bittersweet... A friend of Shuuichi's gives him a cursed Blu-ray disc and asks him to watch it and see if it's actually cursed. Well, as it turns out, an evil girl ghost comes out and tries to possess him, only to be exorcised by his childhood friend Murasaki. It's then that the ghost turns into a normal looking girl named Chiyako, who in turn reveals that she had died and that there are souls of six other girls in her who had also previously died. But a ghost can only remain in the mortal realm for 49 days, give or take a few. So it's decided that these seven girls will divide the time they have left between themselves, leaving everyone a week to do what they want with the small bit of life that was left to them before they disappear for good. Hoo boy, you can probably guess this is going to be pretty emotional. Every one of the girl's stories can get pretty heavy at times. Some a little more, some a little less, but make no mistake: many feels were had. Although I loved the story in its entirety, I will say that the ending and the extra chapter Purple Envelope kinda left me with slightly wanting something different. They're not bad endings, not at all, but I guess it just left me wanting for something more, I suppose. But that's just me. There's a lot of choices to be made in this game, and they're not just "pick this for route A and that for route B." It actually kinda matters what you pick and how you treat the girls in the long run. As an example (no spoilers), there's one point early on in the game where I had the chance to talk to one of the girls during a pretty serious scene. In my first run, I confronted her and got a bad ending because of it. But later on, having made different choices earlier, I confronted her in the same spot again, and it turned out to be an entirely different afterwards, and it lead me to a better ending with said character. It's not by any means a rare way of going about it, it's actually quite common. It's just that I tend to see the choices that just make you pick a route and that's it more commonly nowadays. So yeah, choices do matter. And speaking of endings, I think there's technically one main ending on top of a bunch of bad endings here and there. Every girl's story is divided into chapters that have to be gone through in linear order. But I think most characters, aside from maybe two (not entirely sure, but all evidence seems to point to it at least), have a romantic ending for their own chapters. I didn't get a single one of these my first time around unfortunately, but they're definitely worth unlocking I think. If you don't however, you won't miss out much since these endings don't actually have any impact on other chapters in the visual novel. But I guarantee that the better endings for every character will be more emotionally impactful than the normal endings. So in the end, this one was an emotional roller coaster. I laughed, I fell in love, and I cried when it was all over. Multiply that with a factor of 7, and you have Seven Days. It can be a pretty heartbreaking experience, but it's one that I adored and will remember for a long time. Despite the fact that I got it during a sale, with the amount of content available I would say it is worth the asking price.

Seven Days, a great experience with well-done writing and endearing characters. From a gameplay aspect, it's a visual novel with choices and occasional quick-time events that'll keep you on your toes. During the time I spent, I didn't regret reading a single second. The art is good with a fitting soundtrack, the characters have backstories that make you want to empathize with them and I felt torn between deciding a best girl. As good as the story is written, there are still cons. Some of them would be silence for me. The soundtrack is good when it's playing but there is quite a bit of time where there's just text and voice-acting and it feels kind of empty? Progressing through the story is pretty straightforward, until you get to a certain point where you might have to look up how to progress from there and you'll find it kind of stupid. You would be justified in doing so, but it is understandable as to why the developers do this when you do progress. The art is good, but you can see a noticeable lack of it as well. There isn't that much of it, given this is a $39.99 game at the time of this review. If you are not a speed reader like me, it might be worth the money but I got it on sale and it took me almost 13 hours to finish the whole thing. I wouldn't say it's entirely worth its price but it's still a very good read.

This visual novel is LIFE0’s first work and I will definitely say they have done a good job on this work. The galgame “Seven Days” has an extremely meaningful story and the most important idea it would like to convey is that “Treasure Your Life”. After going through the entire game, I ended out realizing so many life principles which really impressed me a lot and brought this game to a higher level. For sure I want to suggest people purchase this galgame Seven Days and I am looking forward to seeing more galgame published by this company in the future. By the way, the galgame is for full age and I really appreciate it. Sakura: A girl who taught me to slow down my step, enjoy and live in the moment of present without always thinking about what is next. (Moe: Glutton) Kotoha: A girl who taught me that the loneliness I was suffering before is not meaningless, the loneliness I experienced actually brought up my present toughness and gentleness. (Moe: Tsundere) Mari: A girl who was lacking the love from her original parents, especially her mother, but finally felt the warmth of mom’s love from the protagonist’s mother. (Moe: Energetic) Ichiru: A girl who was pursuing a cool life like a passionate life that a shonen manga’s protagonist has, burning out all her energy by doing exciting things until the end. (Moe: Wild) Shizuku: A girl who was working hard to share the truth behind their sadness stories in order to convey the idea of treasuring your life and everyone beside and important to you. (Moe: Mukuchi) Nene: A girl who realized true love is not really expressed by the physical relationship but built by a metal and psychological relationship (Moe: Lewd in the surface but pure in the heart) Chiyako: A girl who treasure the forty-nine days’ memories spent with the protagonist Shuuichi, who was suffering from the nightmare for a long time and finally released from the curse by Shuuichi’s rescue in the end of story (Moe: Tennen) Murasaki: A girl who always stayed by the side of Shuuichi, I hope Murasaki can have a happy ending with Shuuichi in the other side of world by reaching the new possibility. DLC purple envelope actually gave us a meaningful story instead a merely happy route of Murasaki, I am not sure whether this is a good way to do it but it seems to make the galgame special than others. Recommendation for improvement: I actually have experienced some problems with the game system like I cannot make screenshots in the full size, and I hope they can make the story longer to more than 45 hours playing time. Also, if every heroine can have equal story length, it will be better. Last thing is about the CG, seems like steam version missing some CGs comparing to PS vita version based on the difference of the two PV on youtube, so I feel disappointed because of the missing CG. Overall, the galgame is worth buying because of the quality of the story and the charming heroines. I will give Seven Days the score of 8.7 out of 10.

Whether you are new to the visual novel genre, or someone that has played many, please, do yourself a favor and give yourself this experience. This game is absolutely amazing. The characters, the story, the music, the visuals, all are to be appreciated in whole. You can easily find a summary description of the game, and you may already know it before coming to the review section. I'm just here to say that this game made me experience so many emotions, and I enjoyed every bit of it. What you read about this game, and what the story holds for you, it does masterfully. The only complaint I can have for the game is that the main character is presented with no eyes. I'm assuming to not give him too much identity and let the reader feel more immersed. But some of the scenes you see the mc in are pretty big/important scenes and just kinda takes it away a bit since he lacks features for the emotion of the moment. Other than that, I feel that this game is easily a 9/10. I bought mine on sale for under $30, considering the base is $50. BUT! If I knew then what I do now. I would have easily bought this game full price for the time and moments I got out of it. And for anyone that may be curious on my stand, NENE IS BEST GIRL!

One of the best Visual Novels i´ve read in my entire life, i honestly didn´t expect such amazing work. I bought this on a Steam sale, and i couldn´t be happier. The title already suggests lots of strong emotions, and damn it makes you feel strong emotions. The story is excellent, the characters are incredibly defined, and you get to know all of them (in a few cases, some girls get more attention than others, but honestly it was a great choise, otherwise you would be crying non-stop throughout the whole novel). Honestly, if you want a good visual novel to feel all sort of emotions, this is the one for you. You will laugh, you will cry, and you certainly won´t want it to end.

My fucking heart. My heart is in pieces. I... This game was the first ever to make me genuinely cry for something in a game. I've never done that before. Every chapter, every possibility I saw. Heart rended, shattered, fractured. I want to see more from this story. I want to see everyone interact again. And yet I can't. As much as I wish for it, their story is told. Everyone has their story told, everyone gets a conclusion that’s happy. Even if it took a while for one of them to get full closure. This story both fulfilled me and left me empty. I want so much more. I want to see so much more. But, if they're happy, who am I to argue against that? I can live with it. LIFE0, if you guys somehow read this, keep it up. You guys have made peak fiction. I hope Dreamin' Her is eventually officially translated. I want to see what you guys have cooked up.

I'm going to try and keep this as spoiler-free as possible! Now, I've played quite a few visual novels and this, by far, is the best one I've enjoyed playing more than once! It's got an extremely consistent plot and the individual personalities of each girl are so diverse AND, unlike most visual novels, you get to experience each girl in one playthrough! Seven Days With You has one ending. and YOU get to choose how you get there (for the most part). You don't just pick a specific girl and deal with her issues or insecurities (unlike most visual novels). I haven't cried this much over a game since I was like 7, and I'm a very emotional person! Honestly, the best review I can give over all this mostly spoiler free info is to just buy the game and experience it yourself! DON'T WATCH A PLAYTHROUGH! It's way better to experience it on your own or with a friend :D.
