The first expansion of Dawn of War, bringing the Imperial Guard to the forefront. I recommend it, for similar reasons to the first game, but it does come with some significant caveats. I still remember the bugs and glitches when it first launched, with Guardsmen punching through tanks and certain campaign missions being completely busted. Still, I mostly had a good time with the singleplayer content.
The Order campaign (Imperial Guard and Eldar) reflects the playstyles of the two factions perfectly. The Imperial Guard will go through meatgrinders, chucking entire battalions of men at problems until they go away, while the Eldar will sneak around the back and obliterate enemy threats from the shadows. General Sturnn and Taldeer are solid characters for the franchise, and I didn't have any issues with the writing. The campaign is a lengthy grind, but still enjoyable in the end.
The Disorder campaign, on the other hand, is a miserable experience. Lord Crull is absurd and Gorgutz is fun at first, but both quickly wear out their welcome. The missions are much buggier and more rushed than their Order counterparts, and the writing is grating. The 'capture enemy squads across the map and slowly walk them back' mission was particularly aggravating for Chaos, given that a bug caused my captured squads kept vanishing the moment I looked away. The most frustrating was the penultimate mission for the Orks, where resources are bugged out and you're essentially fighting a full Eldar army with unlimited Warp Spiders, Dark Reapers, Howling Banshees, and an Avatar with only a handful of squads and three Wartrakks on a time limit.
Play the Order Campaign and move onto Dark Crusade, otherwise you're not missing much.

в целом мне нравится это дополнение, в нём нет ничего лишнего и чувствуется дух оригинальной Dawn of War!
однако, в одиночной кампании много багов, которые делают прохождение невозможным. иногда помогает начать миссию заново, но порой приходилось делать это много-много раз, чтобы баг не повторился.
