I used to play the tabletop version of Warhammer Quest. This game is a faithful adaptation and was fun. I encountered a few times where the game prioritized something other than what I wanted to do, but nothing game-breaking. Beat the game rather quickly, but could be due to experience with these types of games and found some good gear early as well.

Meh. It starts reasonably well, but it gets repetitive. Interface is made for mobile, so it gets fairly clunky. Classes feel really lackluster, with little uniqueness, and all of them are very, *very* simple. It is not *bad*, but it is not a good game. Get it with a decent discount.

I don't know how you can be lazy enough to screw up such a simple concept for a game. Early on it's alright, even if it is a slogging grind, but the more you play the more you are subject to constant bullshit that you have no power to prevent or overcome. Lets just get this over with and get straight to the bad: - Randoms spawns: There is no limit or pattern to these in dungeons. They can drag on a quick dungeon run meant to make some gold to a stupidly long length. Worse, they can chain back to back every turn. The monsters that spawn can be anything from rats, to end game monsters that can and will one-shot your characters, making the freaking 45 minutes you just spent in the dungeon completely wasted and then cripple you going forward. These needed serious level balance, and should be limited to one per room or a number per dungeon. - Random encounters: Like the random spawns, you can get a random encounter against any number of end game monsters early on in the game, and be limited to only one or two heroes to face them. You will lose, you will be penalized, and you can't do anything about it. In the rare chance that you get some powerful gear early on that gives you a fighting chance, random spawns will still trigger during this encounter to make extra sure you're screwed over. - Monster balance: Non-existent after the first hour or two of the game. Monsters quickly scale to have high resistance, high hp, and high damage output, and we're talking about basic swarm monsters not elites or bosses. A random spawn of pox rats can shred a party to pieces because they deal greatsword damage for no reason. - Objectives: This is probably the most idiotic element in the game. Most dungeons have objective markers that you have to reach to complete the dungeon. If they worked as advertised it would be great because you would actually have a chance of bypassing impossibly battles. BUT, they don't work if there are any surviving enemies left on the map. So wtf is the point of having an objective marker if you have to kill every enemy anyway? Remember that one bat you ran past at the start of the dungeon? Congrats, you're back tracking the whole damn way to kill it now, one turn at a time, four spaces at a time, in a dungeon where every room takes 10-12 spaces to cross. These issues, mixed with game content being locked behind pay walls on phones, are stupidly easy to fix, but nothing has been done about them making it obvious that the developer has completely abandoned any notion of updates. Don't waste your time, and definitely don't buy anything else from Perchang because I promise that Silver Tower is ass too.
