I jumped into Tunche without high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by its beautiful art and the setting inspired by Amazonian folklore. It’s rare to see a game that represents Latin American culture so well, and that alone deserves praise. The visuals are hand-drawn, with fluid animations and vibrant environments. You can feel the care the team put into every detail. The soundtrack fits the vibe — subtle, but atmospheric. Combat starts off simple, classic beat’em up style, but gets more interesting as you unlock new abilities. Each character has a distinct playstyle, which helps keep the gameplay fresh. The room system with different rewards (health, gold, skills) adds a nice layer of strategy. On the downside, progression can feel a bit slow — you’ll need to grind to unlock everything. And after a few hours, enemies and environments start to repeat. The story is charming, but very simple, more of a backdrop than a driving force. Overall, Tunche is a unique experience. It’s not perfect, but it has personality, heart, and a refreshing concept. If you enjoy games with a strong artistic identity and want a fun way to explore Latin American folklore, it’s definitely worth a shot. Personal rating: 7.5/10 Not recommended for those who can't appreciate the beauty of simplicity.
