I actually beat this game on release, however after forgetting 90% of it, I decided to replay it. I love the police station bit, thankfully it's where most of the game takes place, because UNFORTUNATELY I REALLY dislike what comes next. Even though it doesn't last as long, the next 2 areas are just not as fun, and that really sort of breaks the game for me. Still, it's one of the best games ever made for sure, and despite this one issue, I loved it.

Great remake. the level design is amazing, there is no wasted space and the lighting and shadows all add up to a very atmospheric environment. that combined with fun redefined game play and a good story make this game worth playing

Damn, I miss my VR times with the game. I had a stroke in 2022, a bad one, my right arm was dead for a few, but my right hand was dead forever. Three months later my friend said "here is a controller mod for you, you have a 3D printer or buy one." Bought a controller that lets me control with one hand, and played it. With mods (no Mr. X, thank you Beardo Benjo and the mod creation) it's really really good with one hand. That said, get it. It's a steal at any price range.

This is the best Resident Evil game to come out for a while, and one of my favorite survival horror games of all time. Amazing atmosphere and tension, very fun progression, some good puzzles, great gunplay, and an inventory system that's just the right amount of restrictive. If you're already an RE fan, or are looking to dip your toes into survival horror as a whole, do yourself a favor and play this game. Not only is it amazing on a first playthough, it also has great replay value with lots of cool extras to unlock from future playthroughs.

Game looks great, music is good, story was good. The massive fucker chasing you is genuinely scary when he is suddenly behind you and whacks you. Ammo and health scarcity is feels just right. The game is intended to be played twice, once with each character. It's more or less the same game, but just different enough to still be fun, I might have enjoyed the 2nd playthrough even more actually, as I already knew how to play the game then.

9/10 little flaw masterpiece of a game. Positives: +Ambiance +Combat, the IA of zombies is erratic in a good way. +Metroidvania feeling. Lows: -Its different campaigns. Its just the same campaign whit little changes between Leon and Claire a and b run. Capcom was really lazy in that aspect. Nonetheless is a great survival-horror game.

This is definitely the best horror game I have ever played. I really love the atmosphere and the enemies. The Tyrant is absolutely insane! his terrifying footsteps make me nervous. There are many interesting locations, and the most exciting part is solving various puzzles and riddles, which made me fall in love with the game so much that I will complete all the series!

Resident Evil 2 Remake - A Masterpiece of Survival Horror Having completed Resident Evil 2 Remake on PS4 when it first released in 2019, I found myself coming back for more on Steam. Yes, I had to repurchase it, but it was absolutely worth it. This is a game that perfectly blends the nostalgia of the original with modern advancements, and the result is a survival horror experience that stands as one of the best in recent years. Let’s start with the pacing. It’s perfectly executed. The game balances exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat in a way that keeps you engaged from start to finish. The sense of dread is palpable, but the game never feels like it’s dragging. There’s always just enough tension to keep you on edge, but never so much that it feels overwhelming. When things do kick into high gear, the action ramps up without ever feeling forced, and the game knows exactly when to slow down and let you breathe before throwing you back into the fire. The art style is another standout. The level of detail in every environment is impressive, with the police station, sewers, and other locations all feeling incredibly immersive. The lighting and shadows create a tense atmosphere, and the character models, particularly the zombies, are disturbingly well done. The realism is striking, and the visual design enhances the sense of immersion, drawing you into the horrifying world of Raccoon City. Staying true to the original is a key achievement of this remake. The core story and gameplay remain intact, which will appeal to fans of the original Resident Evil 2. The puzzles, enemy encounters, and character interactions are all still there, but they’ve been enhanced to provide a more polished experience. Whether you’re a returning fan or a newcomer, the game does an excellent job of keeping the spirit of the original while offering a fresh and visually stunning experience. As for the technical side of things, the game runs smoothly on PC, with beautiful textures and lighting that make the world feel alive, even in the most horrifying moments. The controls are intuitive and responsive, and the upgrades to the inventory and map systems make navigating the game world much more user-friendly without sacrificing the challenge. In summary, Resident Evil 2 Remake is a perfect example of how to modernize a classic without losing what made it great. Its pacing, attention to detail, and faithfulness to the original make it a must-play for fans of the franchise and newcomers alike. If you’ve played it before, it’s worth revisiting, especially on PC where the visual and performance upgrades elevate the experience. Resident Evil 2 Remake is a masterclass in survival horror, and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a gripping, well-crafted game that still respects the past while looking forward to the future.

Saving your last two bullets for a boss fight, only to misfire into a wall because your hands are shaking, great experience. If you enjoy solving puzzles while being aggressively chased by a 7 foot tall fedora wearing terminator Yes i recommend this.
