its ok fun to play

It's got a janky framerate, but its still a good game.

EDIT: Ok, so there are some game breaking bugs after all, but honestly, I don't care. I've spent some more time with it, and the game breaking bugs are few and far between and the game is still fun even if you do have to restart a lvl now and again. I stand by the rest of this review. No, I didn't play for very long, I didn't have to. The game is decent enough. I got it on sale for 50 cents, but if I paid the full regular retail price of $3, I'd have been ok with that. It's got a few different modes, the graphics are solid for what they are. I mean, it's nothing amazing, but it's not claiming to be or even trying to be. The music is definitely from the more "farty" end of the 8bit era, but here it works and it's actually kind of catchy. There are some bugs here and there, but nothing game braking from what I've seen. There are a few things I'd have liked to have seen done differently. Like to the way you use ladders (you jump up them, and there is no going down them, you just fall off the edge to go down) and the elevators do not respond to your command, they are automatic. But those are kind of nit picks. I know I'll be back for more, but for now I have a ton of games to try out. I would recommend looking up a video on YouTube to see if it's something you would enjoy, because it's not perfect, and it's not for everybody. But I dig it and I'm giving it the thumbs up.

Picked this up for $1.49 at one point and finally got around to it. And: This game should not be this fun! I am really impressed. The game is kept very simple. You see something...you shoot it. And try to rescue all the piglets in the level. That is pretty much it. It is the kind of game you will know within 5 mins if you are going to enjoy or not. I only have 3 issues with the game: 1. The weapons: You can't cycle through what you buy. So you could spend a lot of your gold coins on getting a gun that really doesn't do much more than your main gun, given the enemies and level lay out. But shots to those weapons are limited...so they will become a waste. 2. Cheap deaths for the piglets. One level in particular, I had all three and one more left enemy on screen below me. I chose to jump to the platform above him to flip a switch. My piglets followed and failed the jump...and were all killed. It seems like the best tactic is to leave them in a cage...clear out all the enemies, and then go back to get them. 3. Why didn't Steam get Cocked and Loaded??? But if you enjoy retro shooters..then this might...be worth your bacon. (insert drum sting here)

I love the old school type games and this one is great. Simple yet challenging. Differnet levels of hardness with game saves. Love the graphics and sounds. Great price, add to your collection.
