This game is trash in its current condition. Got it on a whim, but controller support sucks and just doesn't feel right and I refuse to play a game of this type with a keyboard and mouse. The menus are clunky at best and hit detection is terrible. enemy attacks aren't animated well enough to properly see them to try and avoid them. It's just too annoying to try and make an effort to get anywhere with this game. This game isn't even worthy enough to be considered to be in an alpha state at this point...

To say this game is rough would be an understatement. For a game that looks like it could run on a PC from early 2000 it sure takes a while to do anything. The menus take forever to load. Your allies' AI basically stops working after 30 seconds. The whole game feels unintuitive. This game feels like it should be in very early alpha stages. Save your money and wait until they've finished.

If I didn't know any better, I would say this game is vapor-ware. This seems to have the absolute minimum amount of playability to be on Steam Early Access. Nearly no key does anything, and everything is put together by 4 toddlers. It takes literal seconds for the game to process that all of 5 words have appeared on screen, and until it is done processing such a heavy load, the player is asked to sit and look at all the visuals on screen. All that eye candy bouncing about, giving us players a visual experience like no other. This company has experience in making an inferior product with their last Steam game. This game has similar issues, as the menu/game stop working for a second or two when clicking something. I don't mean for a moment or two, I mean a literal 2 seconds of sitting there with twiddling my thumbs because a game with worse graphics than 8-bit NES. Don't waste your money on this EA title, it is NOWHERE near being in a position to be test in the Early Access program, let alone anywhere near being even a little bit fun. TL:DR Do not buy this, this game is WORSE than most vapor-ware titles. The game barely loads, and when it does, it is NOT an action RPG as the store says, as everything is so clunky the last word anyone should associate with this title is "action." In reality, this is just crap with no reason to be in Early Access, and I would question whether Steam's vetting process for weeding out scams and vapor-ware is actually working or not.

Honestly, this game isn't what I was expecting, graphics aren't all that big of a deal with growing up on the NES, but my main problems are some bugs in the game like when using the controller to play every once in a while I'd have to switch back to the mouse to regain control, the fact as playing as the Ninja I couldn't get the story to progress any further from the starting area, even after exploring every inch of the cave systems that my character could survive in. The stamina is by far the worst thing, once out of stamina I'm out with no way other than purchasing/finding stamina potions or food and when I start with no gold to speak of and no idea where I can get some food other than finding it. I just let my character run out of stamina and let him get killed. Now I think that If a character relies so heavily on a source to even swing a sword or cast spells there should be a natural regen of that source. I wouldn't say this game is ready to be released for early access at all needs a lot more polishing and squashing of bugs before I'll give it another play.
