A surprisingly enjoyable indie VR game. Rushing to make drinks, but trying to stay alive and return fire quickly became a fun puzzle. Whole game has a retro, 80s feel to it with the bar, lighting and enemies. The randomness of the weapons, and the ability to turn the alcohol bottles into molotov cocktails was amusing. Good challenge for friends to see who can get most drinks served and enemies killed in a round.

I adore this game!! it's so much fun! totally worth every penny I spent on it! I though BARR was kinda funny and certainly added to the experience, I hope he gets more lines when this game is fully developed. The neon party atmosphere is my favorite

This is a great idea for a VR game, I love it. Of course, it is meant to be played shitfaced so this adds another layer of challenege, depth, and fun that other VR games do not provide. After finding out how to make tips the game gets cooler, but once you find out you can murder people with bottles of booze that you light on fire, the game has levels of beauty even I cannot coomprehend.

Awesomely combining mixing drinks with shooting bad guys in neon 80's bars with a smart-arse AI wristwatch, this game has a unique charm that is often missing in modern games. After playing this game and meeting one of the developers at PAX Aus I finally decided to take the plunge and buy a VR system (that and Superhot VR). No regrets (for Double Shot or VR).

Double Shot is such an awesome simple game! You mix drinks and shoot bad guys (often you do both at the same time). Simple but vibrant graphics, great physics (liquid, bullet casings, broken glass), nice soundtrack and amazing 80's aesthetic. This is definitely one of my favorite VR games so far.

It's fun, but a completely abandoned game. No development updates or anything. It's definitely a cool concept and fun for a few hours, but that fun will eventually just get boring and repetitive. IF the the developers decided to reawaken and continue to develop this game then I might change my review, but at the moment there is no update DON'T waste $20 on an abandoned vr-game. Your better off finding or making a custom map in Boneworks or half life Alyx then play this.

You know, I went into this expecting a shoddy cash-in and I was thoroughly impressed. I genuinely felt like a no-shit action her, nonchalantly chucking bottles of flaming neon liquor and performing casual headshots with an unlikely hyperspace arsenal. Your buddy B.A.R.R. is annoying at first (and I wish that he had more lines/there was an option to mute him when he really grates) but after a little while he starts to grow on you. The developers put a lot of polish in behind the scenes for the incredibly early stage, as well. The action is tight, the physics are smooth, and best of all it takes very little time to gain enough of an intuitive understanding of shot lead and gravity/momentum interaction to let you pull off some highly entertaining tricks. The first time you pull the revolver and ventilate some goon through the cranium with a casual glance, you'll feel like a god, and it only gets better from there. Granted, YMMV. If you think a $5-$10 VR markup is about what you can expect, this is exactly the right amount of bang for your buck.

Simple but surprisingly enjoyable. It's a good challenge. Sort of a mixture of Overcooked and VR murder. Get a drink order and try to fulfill it as quickly as you can while avoiding death and killing sterotypicaly 80s bad guys. I did not like the fact you have no control over what weaponry you use. The game has a Robo Recall style grab a holstered weapon and chuck it when you run out of ammo system. However, when you reach for a new gun it's a crapshoot what you end up with. Could throw your glock away, reach down, and come back with a rocket launcher. I would honestly rather be able to choose what weapons I want to be using, mostly because the rocket launcher and grenade launcher just aren't fun additions to me. Weapon sounds could use a little work too, they lack a certain punchiness which diminishes the overall experience. Despite this though, the game remains pretty fun. Interested to see where they take it.
