Played the first season when it was loaded with players and updating all the time. It was a good running game then even at launch on a laptop. I haven't installed it and tried the game in it's "completed" state. I feel like this game was made for stream teams, or basement co-op, if you have friends and its on sale it made for a few fun rainy weekends in 21'

Deeply disappointed in this.
Mechanically, it's fun. Nice art style, and it performs well.
It's a clean 8 hours of total content. There's a major lack of environmental diversity to it, enemy diversity is adequate, but each enemy has extremely predictable patterns.
The game feels like they split developmental effort equally between game play and microtransactional cosmetics. nearly worse than the development cycle of Valhiem, but at least they have a roadmap and frequent content teasers.
For anything more than $5 this isnt worth your time.

It was already a few years since i bought it and... There's just nothing new added to it. At first, it was looking like that kind of game where it'll get bigger and better with time, but it's unfortunately not like it. Yeah devs, cool, you got plushes now. How about instead you return to the game itself and make it actually good?

Game is fine. However, since I bought to play with friends, not having shared exp is a turn down for me.

It is like clicker heroes but actually you have to click things till you reach purple/legendary gear or achieve level 50. Repetitive, no unique gameplay or quests.

There is so much to appreciate about this game and highly recommend.
The crafting, procedural map, mechanics (8 classes you can play, harvesting special ingredients at night, regulating temperature during winter or heat, bigger map/tougher enemies the more people playing), “golden horns” currency for free rewards, multiplayer with friends or randoms, Viking lore, cell-shaded graphics, ….
It’s been fun playing Saga mode with friends and solo, while trying different classes, weapons, and strategies.
There hasn’t been a major update in years, but the game is still a blast. The developers are still around and there are occasional seasonal updates.
I recommend checking out Discord if you are looking for a group to help you with certain objectives. Playing with random players can be fun, but they are often beginners still learning objectives and may not always know English or be on PC to text chat (the game has in-game text/voice chat).

Refunded. I bought it on sale for 5 dollars and it wasnt even worth that. Messy menus, bad UI, strange crafting recipes, hard to explore maps, long treks for the most basic of resources. Tutorial full of keywords thrown at you so fast youll never keep track of them on the first try. Strange meta progression that looks like it was designed as microtransactions and then demonitized rather than being built as meta progression. Combat is the worst part, aiming is awful, blocking is awful, dodge rolling is nearly useless unless timed perfectly (sword combo 3rd hit is made so that you can never dodge roll the enemy hit, because it locks you in to the timing?).
All and all, just a bad experience. I would rather spend my money elsewhere, and then go play Valheim

You always have connection errors when trying to play with friends.
The issue report form is also terrible.

Não dá pra jogar com amigos, porque a gestão de conexão é uma m3rd4
O formulário de relatório de problemas também é terrível.
(Foi mal pelo hate, mas é verdade)

tribes of mid
-visually is pretty good not all that bad
-very fun skills but they lock "classes" behind a game mode
-inventory is a mess, UI terrible it's meant for console or even mobile.
-is there no jumping? there's are great walls of china everywhere and you would have to fortnite your way up if the game allows you to, meaning there's A LOT of these everywhere and you'd find yourself running in circles just to find the right path
-recipes are a mess, later game recipes for gear are locked behind in game rewards system which is tragic or you can spend that part of currency on cosmetics that looks like late game gear.
-gathering resources like stone and wood are one hit, i like that it's quick but at the same time, it's weird and un-rewarding
-gear statistics are terrible, they don't really tell you much "helthing up" or "fallen up" wtf does these even mean, you'd have to google it instead.
-building mechanic is TERRIBLE i cannot express how much i disliked the building in this game. the whole UI is a mess and confusing
bosses are very very very similar to valheim, just spend your time in valheim instead. you will enjoy this game for a few hours but that's it the game is very mid.
for $7 on the recent sale, it's not worth more than 7.
