Really cute game in the veins of Prison Architect and Rimworld in its art style. The setting of the 70's and 80's cult mentality, Peace & Love, retro-futurism and Cthulhu is quite refreshing.
Still in my playthrough after the tutorial, but the game feels "solved" in the default level of difficulty. It will only take my time to wait for the money and the missions until I complete the game. Then, another 2 playthroughs with the other 2 options of Divine Inspiration. I don't feel threatened by any of the protests and they are rare since it is quite easy to manage heat.
So it plays more like a cute cult "painter" than a real, tense strategy game, with the player always thinking on better layouts for the compound to make everything prettier. A sit-back-and-relax experience, cozy, with a nice music. Well worthy the price at a discount.

Basic base building style game. I enjoy it very much and have built multiple cults using it. Not hard to get the hang of and all the little details are fun to those who like that kind of thing yet easily ignored for those who don't.

Built by only 2 people? Holy crap this is a good game for just 2!
It has its flaws of course, but it's shockingly polished. The artwork is far better than it should be, the game is fun and satisfying. The music is repetitive, but come on, 2 devs... there's only so much 2 people can do!
I particularly appreciate that there are non-abusive ways to play. This isn't rimworld; it's not a war crime simulator, though I think you can play it that way if you want to.
I'm looking forward to seeing updates! I hope that there's a QoL update which gives us a way to sort items by prestige value! :)

I love this game, it has an addictive gameplay loop but I do hope they add new stuff down the line and even workshop because the potential for mods would be amazing.
