Clearly don't know the difference between a puffer fish and a sunfish, what a "plate" is, the difference between a vent and a "grid", etc. Probably some translation problems in there somewhere. Even though I love this genre of game I"m going to say 'NO' on this one because I couldn't tell you the first thing about the story, if there's even a story. I lost interest 5 minutes into it when I realized it's just going to be puzzle after puzzle and most of them are tedious for no other reason than just to be tedious... and no way to turn down the music was another kicker... you can't turn it down or off while you're in a puzzle. Plus, the things you're clicking on that are surely what they are looking for, aren't the things they are looking for. They FORCE you to use hints in some situations because the graphics are so grainy. Pros: You can possibly learn a lot about species of fish, parts of a ship,

I’d probably go with a mixed review if I could. It’s not terrible, but it’s not that great either. I’ll give it a thumbs up for the zoom feature. That’s pretty useful in a Hidden Object Game (HOG). I think that this game was originally written in French. The translation is usually okay, but there were some errors, so I didn’t always know what hidden objects I was supposed to be looking for. I eventually figured out that “rope instrument” was supposed to be “string instrument”, but I needed to use a hint for “table” in order to see that “table” was supposed to be “painting.” (The French word for painting is “tableau.”) For the most part, the game was pretty easy, but I did need to use some hints. The hint system is pretty good. At first, it looks like the game limits you to only six hints, but you can get more hints if you use them up. There is no penalty for using hints. You won’t lose an achievement by using hints, because the game does not have any Steam achievements. There are no trading cards either. Final verdict. Not really recommended, but if you want to try it, wait for a sale.

As far as pro's go I was able to get this game for very cheap, however it is quite short, the puzzles get repetitive very fast, they cheaped out on the design of several recurring characters and there seem to be a number of translation issues with how some of the objects are described. This one leaves a lot to be desired.

This a quick, easy HOA game with pretty decent puzzles and some quirky gimmicks. If you are a fan of Jules Verne, you'll most likely enjoy this game. It is very short and makes for a nice, relaxing afternoon.

This is a visual novel without choices and lots of easy mini games. The price is more than fair. The game really shines where it recreates scenes from the original novel. Don't be surprised if you get a craving to read the actual book! It has good graphical artwork but only sparse sound effects and no variety in the background music. About half the mini games are hidden object scenes, the other half are mostly puzzles and clicking fast on the correct objects. It has a bunch of other mini games to mix things up.

I would highly recommend this game to any teacher or student who could use a fun visual aid for Jules Verne's classic novel.

It's an alright game. The puzzles are entertaining enough. It is about a 2 hour game. It is decent if you like Jules Verne content and don't mind simple hidden object games. Get it on sale, and it is worth it. I only paid $0.54.

It was super fun at first with the graphics, variety of hidden object games, point and click puzzles with an occasional jigsaw thrown in. But once it became mostly completing the ink style block puzzles, I got bored. I kept hoping the next level would return to the point and click, hidden object style puzzles, but no, maybe after a few point and click steps out of the area, yet another block puzzle. And then another, and another. Too boring at that stage (early in the game), I never would've purchased a block puzzle game, ever. Very disappointing purchase.
