My main review is under SpellForce 3 Versus. The odd thing is you have to individually download these expansions. And Steam sees them as their own game. This is a first for me. As for a review...the summary is: it's not for me, but I don't think it's a bad game.

Very fun RPG element, dungeon diving, etc. Incredible lore, especially if you're familiar with spellforce 1. The score is incredible. Having the ability to form a romantic attachement with one of the other heroes is great. I wanted that in the main Spellforce 3. The RTS element is fun, but it's discordant with a significant difficulty with movement of troops between numerous bases being attacked at once. That happens in every RTS, but the movement of troops is very laborious. It's an improvement over the base game because they give you a glyph mid-game that one of your heroes can use to teleport to other sites, but it's still a pain. The dwarves have a built in mechanism for this, but the other races should too.

Great DLC that adds about 18-20 hours worth of content. Even better than the base game in some ways. It has a slightly better balance of party-based vs RTS segments (a little bit less RTS), there's good environment variety, and the Dwarven faction feels really unique (didn't really care for the elves though). Unfortunately, the story is pretty bad overall and the characters aren't particularly interesting.
