The episode editor is fun, but limited. It doesn't let you customize the minions you send into battle. Want to send out a late-game upgraded Breadcrumbler for a more challenging fight? Too bad, you're stuck with the original Breadcrumblers. Though it's possible that has been fixed - I've been wrestling with some bugs that may have to do with my new system having an incompatible graphics card - some of the NPCs didn't animate when I used them last. In all, while it at least delivers what it promises, I definitely would prefer a bit more robust editing features. In any case, it's free, so if you enjoy Chroma Squad, you probably won't regret adding the episode editor onto your installation if only to get a better idea of how these fights are put together in the game.
