AI War: The Zenith Remnant DLC

New music, new ship types, new minor factions all spicing up the game.

Great addition. New ships, new events, another major improvement to the gameplay experience.

Intresting lore, the dyslon sphere is actually a zenith so large that you cant even communicate with it. rather you interact with its immune system. This is why it can flip flop so quickly in mood, its entirely automated.

Do you see that description labeled "About This Content"? a little way up the page? With two paragraphs and a six-point list? It's selling this short. Really short. The wiki entry of this expansion's new features is several *pages* long. Pages of new features, not lines. I'm so used to the content in this expansion that I tend to forget it doesn't come with the base game, but that in itself is a compliment: it all meshes so smoothly and seamlessly, that you won't realise that the real cause of you just losing your game is the stuff that came out of this expansion. The golems are the must-have feature, of course, and they're fun, fun, fun. Fun to capture, fun to repair as fast as possible, fun to use. Oh, so very fun to use! These things offer tactical options like no others. Faced with a single, large target? Artillery Golem. Faced with bristling massed defences? Hive Golem. Or a Cursed Golem. Faced with swarms of smaller AI ships? Widow Golem. The Botnet Golem is almost a game in its own right. And so it goes on. There's enough material in this expansion to replay the game time and again (and again (and again) and again) and again. And you will, because the expansion also features Raid Engines, the single feature that has caused me to see the game over screen time and again (and again (and again) and again) and again. I hate them. I have still never beaten the Raid Engine AI type. TLDR: What possible reason is there for *not* buying this?
