This is good if you are looking for a railroad tycoon type game. I like it better than Railway Empire that has the annoying npcs.

Can't get through the tutorial... Places train station in the middle of towns and can't move them... Garbage... No wonder it's $5

The economics are very strange. Your railroad doesn't charge fees for transport. It buys the products (including passengers) and then sells them when they are delivered. The amount of money made on such transactions is absurdly high and the only real restrictions are that you start with insufficient money & borrowing is absurdly expensive. Sometimes trains go off to stations that are not on their route. The items available to be picked-up or in demand to be delivered change and that can mean that trains stay in a station unable to unload or load. It isn't obvious when this has happened, but can be impossible to solve if there is no where else that demands the cargo. It can also cause severe delays that cause something to run out and fail the challenge. Another funny thing is that industry is located in the middle of nowhere, not near the raw materials & not near the cities. It is as if they have been placed in the worst locations so that there can be long railroad lines needed to connect them. Also your railroad is often headquartered in a tiny location that makes no sense. Not near a city and not near any exploitable demand/supply. Nevertheless I have played it 100 hours so far, and will probably continue until I have completed all the challenges. This is just the introductory part of the game.

A crappy little game. A poor tutorial that doesn't reset if you mess up. I actually had to watch a Youtube 'lets play' video, and finally figured out what mistakes I was making. It's a shame, this game looked like something I would have liked to have played. Gimme my money back, keep your game, and try again.

An enjoyable train based transport game. It's your basic premise of trains between towns picking up goods supplied by one town and delivering them to a town that demands that good. As towns grow their demands change to more advanced goods. All demands have limits, and processed goods will stop receiving raw inputs if their output queue is full forcing you to create an end to end supply chain over time. The campaign was very well balanced. Later missions have resources more awkwardly scattered, making the early game very tactical. A couple of missions required a second attempt. My only complaint is a common secondary goal to win within a given time limit, where I base my tactics on meeting the primary goal within that time limit only to find a follow on goal appear after the first is met and I no longer have enough time. Overall a polished train game that I enjoyed playing.

It’s fine-to-good. If you’re experiencing a logistics management craving, or having a ‘tism flare-up like I was, this will scratch the itch pretty good. I was hooked on it for about 20 or 30 hours but ultimately stopped before finishing the campaign because it just got a bit too repetitive. It can seem a little complicated at first, but it’s actually pretty simple and won’t really challenge you. Just casual ‘tism fun.

Stick with Railway Empire. This game is missing so many QoL features, where you're not even sure if it's a bug or just terrible design. Laying track is particularly awful. Not even worth the $5.

Its a cheap version of Railway Empire. This game feels like the developers don't actually play the game because the simplest of Quality of life changes that could be made is bizarre. The tutorial is pretty awful, laying tracks is frustrating, you cant edit stations or adjust tracks. Sure for $5 its okay but unless its on sale DON'T BOTHER. Just get Railway empire its cheaper and higher quality.
