A good puzzle game with an immersive atmosphere, poignant story, and beautiful graphics. The HOGs and minigames are great. The game itself is a bit short and rather on the easy side, recommended rather for the casual player. I loved the "superpowers" and the visuals in the bonus chapter.

This series is not too bad. This game in particular was a little on the easy side for an HOP and the episodic nature can be not as engaging, but if you play the 4 horsemen first, I think you might get into this one more (although not necessary, and there is no storyline correlation). As with the other games in the series, there was a great balance between HOs and puzzles.

Wow… you are such a great detective of the paranormal that even Death himself hires you for jobs! Seems in this case a bunch of individuals have somehow run and hidden themselves from Death. This is bad, as apparently there is a Balance to maintain, and those that die make way for those that will live. In other words, by running from Death, some babies cannot be born into the world. Worse still, this will eventually trigger a crack in Time itself…
Better get to work.
An exciting plot, fun HO scenes, and challenging minigames await.

Clear, clean atmospheric artwork/graphics/scenes
Adequate music/sounds
Entertaining voice acting
Three difficulty modes (no custom)

Lockable toolbar
Intricate adventure play
Undemanding but enjoyable hidden object scenes
Undemanding but enjoyable mini-puzzles
Interactive elements in scenes
Two types of static collectables
Bonus chapter
Bonus content
Strategy guide
Cons
The story explanation for the three incidents was weak and out of left field
No indication when objects in correct position for possible use
On the short side, even with bonus chapter
Cannot complete bonus chapter due to bug in final mini-puzzle
Final words (6/10):
While the majority of it was good, the poorly done story explanation and bug had a serious negative impact to my overall enjoyment.
