Seems to be pretty cool, but i got enough in 30 minutes. Too simple. Random interactions is annoying.

I hate it, I hate it so bad. 6 hours in, ive had to look up how to get through the desert im stuck in the swamp and I realized. I came in here to punch things, but im just punching myself trying to solve these puzzles. If you can get past the puzzles or just arent dumb like me. You'll love punching everything, but damn when that npc said "I wish it was just a straight line full a monsters" I felt like I severely misjudged the gameplay loop. I'll beat it at some point, but considering the random encounters and archaic save system making my lack of IQ on these puzzles, its gonna be a horrible experience

This game will always hold a special place in my heart, and I beg and plead my friends to play this game so I can watch them experience it too. The gameplay is difficult but smooth, the story is goofy and heartfelt, and I would pay money for more interactions with the characters. On the topic of paying money: GIVE ME MERCH. I WILL SELL MY BANK ACCOUNT AND SOCIAL SECURITY AND BED IF IT MEANT I COULD OWN A PLUSHIE OF JUNE. One of, if not my absolute favorite, games of all time. Ignore pretty much all the negative reviews you see on this game and give it an honest chance. The only real valid gripe with the game is the frequent random encounters interrupting your on foot exploration, but even then, why complain about having more game segments in your video game?

An insanely fun game, while it takes some time getting used to it and having to go all the way back every time to save can be annoying I highly recommend it.

I will only mention the two gripes I have with this game. 1: The random encounters does make the game worse, especially if you are dumb like and spent a good hour on one section of a puzzle, but they really couldn't do it better with how important monster drops are. 2: This and the random encounters play hand-in-hand, but the save system is really annoying, as the only place you can go to save is the bed in the captain's boat. At least it isn't all that bad since no place is really that big and the fast travel options are good enough (those being the door behind the blacksmith that sends you to the last floor you completed and just being able to jump off the tower to make it back to town. Overall, 9/10 would Fight as Knight again (I will because NG+).

I'm flabbergasted at how this is a 3D game made in GM7 which is insanely impressive but also at how tedious and boring the game is. The random encounters get old so fast. I want to beat up skeletons, not play a boring dungeon crawler.

Good concept, artstyle, and animation, but bad execution. Forcing a conventional RPG save system on a fast-paced dungeon crawler with almost punchout-style combat, random encounters, puzzles and NPC dialogue/quests, is one of the best ways to ruin what might be a great game (I'm not sure cause I already lost interest in playing it). As soon as I first died, got booted to the menu, wasting my time, then saw all my progress was wiped, meaning all the exploration, items collected, enemies fought, puzzles completed - I had to do again, I knew this game is meant to waste the player's time. The random encounters can be annoying, and take you out of whatever you're doing, creating this jarring gameplay loop. The repetitive fast camera movement and snap turns was giving me a headache. I wanted to like it, but I've had an awful time in only the first 30 min.
