Bubble Ghost Reviews

Years before he would begin his career as a very successful and very boring pop star, Michael Bubble starred in the equally French video game Bubble Ghost. While the family-friendly crooner is safe in death, the bubble he is in charge of chaperoning is vulnerable to even the smallest touch! The version available on steam is a DOS port of the Atari ST original, and like most emulated DOS games plays just fine. If you originally played Buble Ghost on game boy like I did, you will probably notice the difference in bubble physics: as the bubble doesn't really pick up much momentum, slight movements are a little easier, but the keyboard controls means that it is much more difficult to manipulate a moving buble on the fly. The game boy soundtrack, while only featuring one or two songs repeating forever, is still sorely missed in this largely silent version of the game. All in all, I'm very glad this classic puzzler is available on Steam, and especially with how heavily discounted it is during steam sales you really can't go wrong with this one.
