I think this game is best when you know what it's like going into it.
I played the game that way. I also suggest getting it on sale as the price goes extremely low.
It's different, it's buggy, it's less polished, but it's not meant to be the same, it's something else.
It's got a good few hours of content.
Personally, I enjoyed it. It's more puzzle-y than the original, but I like those kind of games and this one was interesting to me. Plus, the music's a standout. I'd say the game's absolutely overhated.
Is the original better? Sure. But there's a lot in here if the game's right for you.
