The game has just been banned in my house for glorifying dogfighting, (I don't share the opinion, my mom is one of those moral guardians) so I figure that now is a good time to give my overall thoughts. First, I'd like to address the issues. For one, this game is rather unpolished, most notably in the Retro stages where I encountered glitches with both myself and enemy dragons. In one instance I got stuck in a platform and needed to reset, another time my sprite duplicated. As for the enemies, they suddenly teleported to different areas and their flight patterns were in broken loops. But these issues seemed to be exclusive to Retro mode because thats the mode I played the most, and I didn't find any bad glitches in the other modes. Visually, the game could use a touch up as well. I like the attempt at making it look like an older, pixelly game, but the scenery is rather bland, as well as the dragon models. As for the gameplay, it was reassuringly responsive, and the enemy hitboxes are clear. It's got a good blend of difficulty, which, obviously, is a must in video games. Overall, despite the setbacks, I enjoyed this game. Nothing spectactular but it did hold my attention as a time-passer. I'll give it a 3.5/5, and I hope it improves steadily in the future.

Alright this game took my "refund virginity". Cons: - Menues seem to enter into a cooldown period whenever you click any button. - Huge loading times, some sort of PSX level. - Can't change keys. - Game won't save the full screen option, wich you must enable each time you go to main screen. - When you lose there is a retry option that will send you to the stage select menu instead of restarting the fight. - When completing a stage, sometimes you have a picture covering the "next stage" button and it stays there for too much time - In some stages you spawn right on top of an enemy causing you to lose a life for free. - Controls are extremelly clunky. - The slow time powerup not only slows the enemies but yourself as well making it totally pointless, and in addition you're not able to pick up stamina power ups during this effect. Like really wtf were they thinking? Pros: - It's cheap...? I strongly belive that the NES version of this game they failed to remake has better graphics, gameplay and AI. Im strongly dissapointed

I was hoping for a modern recreation of the old retro game Joust, but unfortunately the quality of the implementation of this game is so extremely bad that I find it almost impossible to enjoy it at all. There was clearly very little attention to quality control applied when making and releasing this game. It is rife from top to bottom with bugs and inconsistencies. This is the opposite of a game that has had love and polish put into it. It is like what you would expect from a student game jam except even buggier and lower quality than average even for that context. TLDR: This game is so poorly implemented that it is completely unprofessional and unworthy of public sale. No self respecting game developer should ever release a product whose quality control is this poor and careless. Look elsewhere if you want a Joust-like game. I promise you that you almost certainly won't enjoy this one. It's a shame too, since it could have been good in theory.
