Im left confused after playing this. its so good and bad at the same time. its the first vr game ive played that focused on super powers and made me feel it. i was very impressed by how natural it started to feel how my hands felt a bit of a tingle of false energy when id release a blast. the mechanics of this game are fantastic but the level design, enemies, pretty much all aesthetics are severly lacking. if this game said update 0.5 instead of 1.5 id be more comftorable in a heavier handed recommendation. but at the same time theyre still improving it and id take a vr game that showed me the immersion of game mechanics over pretty lights any day. im surprising myself when i say im not going to be refunding this. theres just something here no one else has

Not sure whats the hate about but the game is pretty fun. Basically you have telekinetic abilities and you can summon blades at free will, These blades can cut through almost anything and its really fun to see them chopping boxes to a million pieces. But the thing that ruins it, Is that the game doesn't get updates. It would've been really good if it had a workshop feature where people can make custom maps cuz these powers are nuts. 10/10 tho

It is janky, but really fun! I love the abilities (specifically how the swords cut through everything and how you can pick up dudes with telekinesis and slam them into stuff until they break every bone in their body). It is pretty janky and has no official index controller support, but it is easy to just use a community binding so that isnt a big deal to me. Also, the jank was kinda funny. 8/10.

Think of it like Metal Gear Rising slice and dice!! meets force unleashed push and pull!! pretty awesome game! the level design is kind of lacking but with the awesome chopping physics I see why! I had a blast and finished it in a few hours! The controls are solid and the game makes you feel like a complete bada$$! hoping too see more levels, powers and enemies in the future! check it out!

[EDIT: 1/16/2021]: Wanted to check up on it after all this time, and it looks like the game's been abandoned. It's not that I dont recommend this game--it's just that I don't recommend this game right now. This game has a lot to offer, with its main selling point being the freedom with which you can slice objects and enemies. However, the fact of the matter is that right now, the combat just....isn't as clean as I would have hoped. Force isn't required to slice through objects, at least not much. A smooth verticle or horizontal motion can achieve the same effect as a rapid motion, and often to better results. I think this is a problem. It doesn't feel like there's any impact between my sword and the things I'm cutting through. I would equate the experience as similar to hitting air, much like combat in vanilla Skyrim. I discovered that as of right now, you can only slice through an enemy so many times--as opposed to a standard object like a desk, which can be sliced what seems to be infinite times--and that more often than not, I end up somehow knocking an enemy out swinging my arms willy-nilly without so much as making a single cut in them. Throwing objects is also kind of wonky, as is pulling objects to you, which I find is crucial for taking out white enemies. It's troublesome when I can't successfully pull a gun from the ground into my hand, locking the gun mid-air instead of equipping it. Often in battle, doing so accurately and swiftly is the difference between life and death, and the unreliablilty of your force-pull can get frustrating, especially in long wave-battles. You are also able to deflect bullets, but deflecting bullets is difficult enough without even trying to deflect them back into your enemies. I wish I could say I enjoyed all 25 levels of this game, but that simply isn't the case. Thus far, it's a 25-level demo of rinse-and-repeat combat that, admitedly...still needs further testing.

Not worth it for Index users. There is no Index controller support, and only 1 usable community binding that doesn't work for anything other than movement. If you only have Index controllers, don't waste your money. I was hyped to play this game, but can't recommend it for anyone since it doesn't support the hardware it says it does. Hopefully, Index controllers will get supported in the future. If so I will try this game again.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
So there is a cool game here. A lot of the positive reviews are accurate. You do get a good workout. You have this cool telekenisis power that you can use for maximum carnage and mayhem. You can teleport around or move almost freely (snap turning 90 degrees). You get to slice and dice enemies with spawnable swords. You can also steal and use guns (but why would you use guns when you can grab objects and throw them!). There's a rock, paper, scissors quality to this game. Certain enemies you can defeat in any way, certain enemies are immune to telekenesis, certain are immune to swords (how is that possible, don't ask), and it all makes sense in this arcade-like combat game where the puzzles are how to efficiently clear the room (or the most fun/evil way to clear the room). And if this game were priced $9.99, I would say it's perfect for what it offers. However, this is a $19.99 game and at that price point, there's much better quality games in VR. The first thing is that there are only 25 levels. While there is some variety to the level designs, a lot of the level design is just more enemies. A lot of the levels look the same. There is no story here. The game runs poorly (low framerates) on my rig even though the graphics and sounds are subpar. The game feels more like a tech demo. A very good tech demo that gets you excited for a future full-fledged triple AAA quality title. I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the tutorial levels and the actual game starting. That's how bad it is. When you're asking for $19.99, there needs to be more than that. If you can find this game for under $10, then you're getting a good deal. But I can't recommend this game at the current price. Rate 4.9/10. Very close call. I don't like to downvote good games, but $19.99 for a fun tech demo is overpriced.

Although the price is a bit high, if you're looking for a great game to screw around in and let off some stress, this is great. I shortened my experience in the game down to a pros and cons list. PROS: -Slicing things/people is fun -Flinging things/people is fun -Floating things/people and slicing them is fun -It's challenging -You can shoot things while slicing things or float things while shooting them etc. -Works out your arm muscles CONS: -Short, I finished it in under 2 hrs but didn't refund because I respect the devs ;) -Kinda glitchy at times -Only 2 voice actors -Only 1 song that plays during battle (I think, if there's 2 then they're very similar) -Can't move items towards or away or rotate while floating them without a big hassle -Price is kinda high Overall, I'd give it an 8/10. Had fun playing it, a bit pricey, pretty short, but very engaging to play.

*Note: Added an edit after the new updates. Has potential. The gameplay mechanics essentially feel like Psi-ops mixed with Metal Gear revengeance, which sounds like a match made in heaven, though the game falls a little short of its full potential atm. It's mechanically sound, runs well and has good VR features and the graphics are bare but functional. Where the game falls short is the sound design, it's very subdued, bordering to nonexistent, which takes away a lot of the fun and force of the player actions. The swords are essentially completely silent and even bigger moments of carnage and destruction are accompanied by tiny tings and clangs. It's a shame too, because with decent sound feedback the action would really be on par with the games this takes inspiration from. It's still fun, so I'll give it a recommendation, but with just a little audio work it could be way more satisfying. EDIT: The developers udptaded the game recently, adding a bunch of soundwork which have done wonders to beef up the combat and destruction. It's not quite perfect, stuff colliding with things is still a little gutless, but now the telekinesis and the swords feel very satisfying. Recommended.
