This is like Ski Stunt Simulator (2001 by Motion Playground) but simplified and only one level. I understand the positive reviews because Ski Stunt Simulator was an amazing indie game before it's time. But this is like a demo of a beta compared to the original. Sorry. Do I recommend this game? Yes and no, but mostly no. I love the concept and the original is not easy to find today but the original is like the full game of this demo.

Just. Ski.
No awful menus, settings, controls or anything.
It's challenging and simple. A burst of top quality game priced perfectly.

Comments:
This is a cool little physics game where I as the player am tasked with getting a two dimensional skier to the end of a course and safely home to their cabin. The controls are ostensibly simple, move the mouse down to make the skier crouch, move the mouse up to make them extend. This effects the on-screen skiers speed but more importantly their rotation in the air. On the face of it, very easy, but in reality using it to good effect to control the skier in the air and nail landings is pretty damn tricky. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on your point of view, you can actually cheat it a little with a very specific technique that can make reaching the end fairly trivial but I recommend trying it the intended way first otherwise it loses a little of it's charm.
The single colour [and white] art style and sounds are minimalistic at best but are used well and the overall style is cohesive and interesting. I really like how progress is shown by the sky colour transitioning from colour to colour as I made it further and further towards the ending.
Overall, a short and cheap physics game that's absolutely worth trying.
NOTE: Game completed before the Just Ski + update.

Would have recommended the game while it was still not free, but now that it is free I recommend it even more. While the game is relatively short (depending on how fast you get the hang of it) it is pretty entertaining and can be relaxing. The perfect precursor to Jeff Weber's other great game, That Flipping Mountain.

This game is fun but feels far too short. I guess I do still have some more achievement to get but I believe that I have beaten the main game. I'd say it's worth the money, especially on sale.

Just Ski is simply fun and relaxing.
It has a minimalist aesthetic, easy to learn but difficult to master gameplay, and a soothing soundtrack. This is the perfect game for just chilling out and enjoying some no-nonsense physics challenges.
And it's soon to be made free!

Fun and addicting.. A great game to unwind with. It takes some practice to get a hang of the controls, but once it starts to *click* and you get that intuitive feel for it, the gameplay is very satisfying. It would be great to see some new runs added, but I can't complain with the price I paid.

Couldnt figure out how to change from mouse steering to keyboard steering, so I decided to chargeback. But after a while I actually enjoyed using mouse as steering mechanic, so no need for a keyboard for this game, and I actually hope you never allow it. Great game!
Cool easy concept of a game.
-Simple and easy to learn
- Chill and relaxing - (recommend your own music and just cruise away with your perfect landings.)
Have fun <3 And God bless you

It's only $3 so a lot can be forgiven, but there are no checkpoints so the only way to win is to have a perfect run and that can be a bit tedious if you just want a pleasant and easy skiing game
A nice game to casually play in the background
